I have proto bolt pistols and I've been having a similar problem. I don't understand it, one game it's fine and the next it's blue shield effect everywhere. So irritating when you're one bolt shot from finishing a heavy. :/

Min scout is a little short on PG, but you don't need to make 10 threads about it man. Just go fit a Proto Plasma cannon with all the CPU you've got.

I have proficiency 2 Magsec to compliment my Scrambler Rifle and yes it is a bit underwhelming. Still it is a welcome change from the SMG. I think once I get used to the kick it will be a pretty decent sidearm.

There are too many stupid bugs which would require minimal effort to actually fix. It does amaze me how so much stuff gets messed up with every patch. Sentinels are also ridiculous. If these things were sorted, I could give a thumbs up.

Using a Minmatar Scout with a Combat Rifle and Bolt Pistol has worked really well for me so far. Just went 20-3 on Manus Peak skirmish for example. It's definitely a great finisher.
