21. Did the respec. (snipers/overwatches only) - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I agree, guessing you are going with Caldari Logi (5 slots), then it would be a shame to waste the excellent bonus. Maybe a complex shield extender or two at the cost of 3-4% damage increase may be worth it. I would consider it.

22. Help picking logi racial suit? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
It's really whatever you want. Lately, I run a jack-of-all trades. I am pubbing so I spend less on equipment. Current fit: H: Exo-5 MD G: C-7 Flux M: Complex Light Dmg Mod x 1; Enhanced Shield Extender x 2 L: Enhanced Shield Regulator x 1; Basi...

23. Basic Gallente Assault spec - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I'm with Alexandria. Get your basic suit, find a style you like to play, then work your way to the next level with the same basic setup. More directly, at that SP level, I would go for an ADV suit with ADV weapon. The rest I would pour into tank...

24. Caldari Logi - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
It's a powerful suit, but it has its weakness. As suggested, a little cover and regulators can go a long way. With that type of set up, you have a suit with generous passive tanking and a quick-ish regen for popping in and out of skirmishes. EDIT...

Going with ER-Bullit. I will be skilled into basically all ADV modules and equipment I regularly use with the scattered proto items I have enough skill for. So, I will be going into level V Minmatar Logistics. Plus, the hacking and armor rep boni ...

27. Armor Plates - Basic Is Best? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Right now, if I have EHP of about 400, I feel pretty comfortable. Of course, these are pub matches. Once I'm up against proto weapons, it all seems to melt. As a logi, I tend not to be the first one up front, so range gives me a buffer by way of ...

You don't have to terminate. You can ask for a one-time respec until May 31 (you petition and the respec will come at some point). Don't let the accumulated SP go to waste (unless you know you will cap out, then you will have wasted about 24,000...

I've been using hydraSlav's excellent fitting tool to mess around with fits. I have made a Gallente Proto Logi suit using enhanced plates. I have 483 armor and 103 shield (this is with my soon to be respec'd skills). I end up being a little under ...

31. Armor Plates - Basic Is Best? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Playing around with fits, I am starting to think that there are few situations where I will take enhanced or complex armor plates over basic armor plates. Basic armor plates provide 21.67 armor per 1% of speed loss (not counting efficacy skill). E...

Hack +100

I disagree with your assessment of MDs as poor for AV purposes. Because I run MD on some of my suits, I tend to run flux nades with it (I find it borderline mandatory to be effective). With that said, there are plenty of times where I have fluxed...
