I wouldn't say the HMG/combo is dead. WE just lost some of the intimidation factor. I do miss those extra damage points though.

Well I finally found a build that works, expensive but very nasty! Adapting to this new build is going to be much more about tactics for the heavy, as we have all learned to slink around the map using cover for our every move. The heavy evolution!
