I had this problem last night. I decided to just delete Dust 514 from my system and reinstall. It took care of it for me.

I have a 40gb Fat that had a YLOD last year. I took it to a friend who knew how to solder and had him resolder the gpu/cpu with lead solder and it's worked for a year now. But it'll happen again, and for me, I'm just waiting for it to burn out for...

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but I couldn't find anything through a search. Was loading into an Ambush, but the loading screen wouldn't go away. It stayed as such, even though I could hear gun fire and OB's dropping. *EDIT* And again.

Just as the title says. Last two matches. Even with a restart of the game, still an issue. I already stink at shooting, this doesn't help.

I searched through the forums, but couldn't find anything. When I was selecting my spawn point, I got the dropsuit selection menu but as soon as I hit x, I didn't deploy. It kept telling me to deploy, but I couldn't. It's about the third time it's...

Well I did all that because my 40 gig FAT, YLOD on me, and I did what was necessary to keep it cooler, (still working a year later). Good luck though, the thermal compound I mentioned should be good enough.

Have you thought about upgrading the PS3s fan and or power supply? Worked for me when I had a heating issue. Also some Antec Formula 7 Nano Diamond thermal compound would help too.
