EDIT 2: Logging out and logging back in seemed to give me the items purchased. EDIT 3: Still experiencing the same issue, i can confirm it is intermittent though.

It also seems the client ends up in a "bad" state after an attempt and is likely to require a reconnect (my client started reconnecting while I was in a battle). Tried accessing the market via fitting in-battle, and while in the merc quarters (both via fitting and directly), same results. EDIT: I don't think I was charged AUR/ISK -- never checked.

Market overlay vanished and the "welcome", NDA, patch notes etc popups came up. EDIT: So I decided to experiment and see what works and what doesn't. And now it works again, figures.

When I re-entered the game, I couldn't activate comms on any channel as it was not listed so I quit the game, and the PS3 did a reset on its own, be warned. ! Addendum Sorry Unicorn, I dont recommend this, I've had all the NEW PLAYER info screen overlaying my quarters. Even had the loading screens overlay the game, the yellow loader bar, and restarts whilst in quarters.

After that, I will be stuck at my apartment's screen, unable to move, and it will take me back, as if i had just launched the game and agreed to the beta and NDA. It will load, after that point, it will take me to the character select screen.

I was advised to try buying 1 of something I remembered working. After this, with a bit of luck, the market would function again. It didn't, but after browsing the market a bit more (and noting that for some time, up to a minute maybe, after the "market unavailable"-error I could only see AUR gear) I was able to purchase certain things again. This makes me wonder if it's the buying-of-something-that-used-to-work or just random use of the market that unlocks it (or neither). Hard to tell tho since it's in no way consistent. This is nowhere near 100%, it took me quite a few tries (and disconnects), but eventually I had most things on my shopping-list. Still seem unable to purchase any GEKs however, whenever I try that I get disconnected... Tried again after playing a few games but the purchase-button == disconnect. EDIT: I think I was able to avoid the disconnect that follow "market unavailable" by not closing it until I'd made a successful purchase.
