If your overriding goal is to stay alive, you are probably gonna want the Python. ABs and shield doohickys. Although an armor tanked scanning Grims is fun if you like to fly low.

Passives have a much larger effect than gear. Matches forcing low end gear on players would still see vets dominate. And from what i've been understanding there is a place where vets and noobs can fight on equal ground. Its called the Battle Acad...
