ITT: OP doesn't know what the Magsec SMG is. I use it with one level put into it, and it works fine. If you use it like a mini AR, and use a proper application of cover in close quarters, it's a fine compliment to the Rail Rifle on a Caldari suit ...

Cal assault is really not as hard as you make it out to be. In fact, Caldari assault is arguably the second best assault suit when it comes to tanking, especially with the new profile changes. Know your role and play to your strengths.
