Once they lose they lose 150 clones regardless, so redlining remains a good tactic. From what I understand the district changes hands as soon as the attacker depletes all the clones in the district.

The only thing a corp is good for is playing with other good players who you can talk to. It adds a ton more fun to the game, and is well worth it beyond just corp battles. There are plenty of corps out there, if you want you can check 187., we're...

It'll be nearly impossible unless you have a bunch of friends that will join you right off the bat. You are much better off joining an established corp first for a while.

I've determined that unless the dropship is practically completely still it's near impossible to hit anything. The gun doesn't aim where you think it should at all if you are moving even a little.
