Post launch they said. Racial variants of everything are planned obviously. But getting the game working and out the door is the main priority, adding content comes after launch.

Dont die is typically what i do, i've had to invest 1.5m is setting up a corp, 1.2m for the next level skill book, 1m for our first corp contract. it's not hard to make money so long as you dont die.
