Funny this is the complaint I see shield-side about scrams. If Rattati adds an autocannon to heavy weapons I'm swapping out the HMG and never looking back. I'm pretty sure giving it HMG DPS is not an option.

Only the amarr assault can field the laser rifle well. The heat reduction outclasses the 10% damage (and lower high slot count) by a wide margin. Laser rifles on a commando aren't as useful.
