Personally I would just like to steer with the right stick. That would literally solve all of my control problems with the LAV. If you can't control the turret while driving the camera function is mostly worthless. Harder braking would also be nice.

So the complaint in general is about turning speed? Your over suit agility affects how fast you turn. Wouldn't exactly be fair if you have a mouse with sensitivity cranked in a heavy suit and you can turn on a dime would it?
