I use the TAR (I know I know I'm a bad person) and pick people off from afar. If I draw aggro, I simply run and set a nice little RE or TAR to the face trap for them when they get into my kill zone.

....and plays the Scout role? Personally I love the scout. When coupled with smart tactics and a wise weapon choice the scout can do quite well and be beneficial to the team. I'm looking forward to the stealth modules and also the reactive arm...
