They are fodder for snipers. Let me explain.
Heavies don't really go outside, so snipers aren't a massive issue for them.
Scouts are (1) cloaked, (2) fast, (3) with small hitboxes, and (4) focus on short range combat (shotguns, knives, and rifle hipfire) so they don't ADS much. So snipers see them less often, and miss much more often.
For assaults, you don't have the close range firepower to stay indoors like a heavy. Your place is mid to long range combat. But you (1) don't have a cloak, (2) are relatively slow with a (3) relatively large hitbox, and (4) are reliant on ADS (you're not fast enough to close to hipfire range like a scout usually does).
All of this makes you a sitting duck for snipers. You have maybe 200-300 HP more than a scout, but a headshot is an OHK regardless; it might take three body shots rather than two to take you down, but you are much more likely to get hit three times than a scout is to get hit twice.
Not butthurt, I don't have any SP in assaults on my main character. But taking my assault alt for a spin has been an eye opener, and a head opener (my head).

Your argument is now null. With the Gallente assault and AR you ADS a little less as the range is so poor, which may mitigate things a little. Still, you have not addressed the fundamentals of the argument I am making. |

Therefore, your argument is invalid. On the contrary, this is totally irrelevant to the issue of assault vulnerability to snipers. |
