You're doing it wrong. As simple as that. You're doing it damn wrong.

I keep myself to one tank per match of you lose the first one to strong AV then who's fault is it if you call in another? you have to tank smart.

I was running my Madrugar yesterday; got two-shotted. By ADV swarms. Approx. 8k damage (after resists - I had a hardener running). I guess it was a crit?

Then next match, I got hit by a pair of swarms, don't know what type, but I popped my repper at about 3.5k after quite a bit of alpha. Then proto breach forge.

A few days ago me Mad blow up on alfa from 3xProSL . Learning is fun!

A half decent tanker doing this will rarely get killed. The urban environment actually benefit tanks as opposed to real life where they're suicidal for armour. Any time you get damaged you can just drive around the corner, no swarm launcher or forger gunner will be able to keep up and even if they do you can blaster-face-**** them due to the long reload/lock/charge time between shots. The only way I've seen this countered was by AV getting on top of a sky scraper using a dropship to prevent the HAV from hiding.

This has probably been mentioned in one of the many other threads about this, but aren't standard tanks supposed to have a problem with proto av? It seems you guys only have standard level tanks available right now, so wouldn't it be better to wait until after proto tanks come out to decide how op proto av is? I'm pretty sure a well fit gunnlogi or madrugar with a decent pilot isn't getting solo'ed by standard av very often.

PRO AV won't be OP against PRO tanks because they'll be the same meta level. Right now, PRO AV is horribly OP against STD tanks.

The crying that will happen when they can't solo a PRO tank with ADV gear will be wonderful.

Then I'm not sure what the problem with current av is. Proto anything should be horribly op against standard anything. It seems the biggest problem is lack of proto tanks.
