Do you know if it was one or two people? Sounds like CBR7 just to save ISK instead of the Wiyrkomi, with obviously 5 damage mods stacked. Wouldn't be surprised if the person also had proficiency spec'd out as well.

I get a short laugh followed by sadness when I realize they're serious about it. Not only in that match was I going up against a pubstomping team, I was going up against coordinated AV as well. As such, they destroyed me as if I was running a Soma with 3000 armor. It really hammers the point home that everybody on here firmly believes they should be able to solo well-fit tanks with better than average pilots, rather than just chasing them away to find an easier target. Because that's what a lone person should only be able to do if they're just fielding AV grenades, or even an ADV swarm, is chase them away. Odds are they're hoping it comes to the point where every standard-fit tank is destroyed easily by one person.

I had to start slowing my roll though as I see things in the future that i will want to be investing in.

But you are a scrub tanker who gets his ass handed to him in any other game mode that isnt ambush Only bad tankers play ambush due to no installations/depots and if they spawn as AV they die to infantry or the tank anyways before they can do owt Real tankers play skirmish/domo where proto AV is in every game

Right now, PRO AV is horribly OP against STD tanks. The crying that will happen when they can't solo a PRO tank with ADV gear will be wonderful.

It takes 2-3 good AV guys in STD AV fits to kill me as easily as 1 PROTO guy.

You're doing it damn wrong.* The complaint, from what I understand, is that AV isn't good enough against LAV and all of their ways to roadkill you no matter how many packed nades you throw their way. I'm pretty sure that everyone feels at least some sort of sympathy for HAVs. Things are mostly just sitting ducks.

AV nades be damned! those LAVs keep coming back and back and back and back. They try for my life over and over and they are quite fast so hard to know when they are coming sometimes and somewhat difficult to AV nade. Not even swarms are that good on them. You need a couple forge guns and really give em' hell!

It's counterable but only if you can take the high ground and they move into a position with no easy escape route. No, it does not take a single clip from a proto AV to destroy a "properly" fitted STD tank. So please stop trying to prove your argument by falsely saying a Forge Gun is destroying you in 4 shots, because that would be mathematically impossible. (unless its the breach of course, in which clearly you would be the cause of death by staying still for so long) There is a huge unbalance on the entirety of Vehicles vs AV, and buffing or nerfing either won't solve the problem. Hopefully CCP reworking the whole of Vehicles and AV in patch 1.5 will make everything peachy again. We shall see.
