I know you guys are working hard on finding a solution to the Murder Taxi situation, but removing the free LAV didn't seem to help or alleviate the problem. I'd like to suggest that you make it so that it does the same as when a friendly hits you. You get the RED symbol and nothing happens to you.
I also would like to suggest toning down the Mass Driver. It doesn't make sense that a single player can go 18 and zero using this weapon? Even at close range they don't seem to incur any splash damage?
Proximity explosives? Seems you just don't get enough for all the skill points wasted? Given the current situation with LAVs it may be a good idea to let us put down more with more damage to boot. I know you check your reports and I don't see anyone using to many of these. I guess I'm the only one using them.

To better gaming ... The mass mass driver was already nerfed. 18-0 isn't hard. Most Ar user can do it. snipers can do it. Why are you mad because he gets a couple of kill. I've gone 23 -4 with AR a couple times. |

Seriously? My point is that it's over powered. CCP needs to nerf it some more. You know .. kinda like the flaylock pistol which you don't see as much anymore because it's been balanced. The day will come when this is fixed. |

Murder taxi definition: Caldari logistic LAV with over 60% shield resistance and 3000hp shields. Used to run people over quite effectively.
Deathtrap taxi definition: militia LAV which gets 1 hit killed by proto swarms/forgeguns resulting to get every 1 inside killed. Basically a coffin on wheels.
Hmm is it just me or did CCP removed the wrong vehicle? |

Hmm is it just me or did CCP removed the wrong vehicle? that is what the mass of people wanted so CCP caved in to loudest of them all... those loudest are still crying. lesson here never give into the loudest they are usually placing blame in the wrong area. |

A) I hated the flaylock but the nerf they gave it didn't "balance" it. It actually killed it!
B) MD can be left alone until the rest of the weapons and all that jazz is "Balanced". THEN we'll see if the MD is truly OP (probably not though)
C) Proxies need a buff.
D) I have diffidently seen a decrease in taxis (not everyone is equipped with AV and there have been times where I was on a team and NOBODY used AV! Even MLT vehicles are deadly if not destroyed)
E) Most of the OP sentences didn't really need a question mark?

-AV proxy mines need to get buffed, -logilavs that murder taxi need to nerfed, -flaylocks are dead over nerfed, no where near balanced, but the mass driver went unscathed ? wtf? im sick and tired of bringing a md- user down to 10hp for him turn around and kill me with one shot, its beyond annoying, IN THE hands of a good mass driver user all it is is a flaylock with more range double clip double splash radius , more damage , and a lot less self splash damage when used at point blank range, doesnt make any sense to me, wtf ccp? |

Fixing hit detection is key for a few weapons other then just the MD. I hope they get around to fixing it for everything in the end.

MD is a primary, flaylock a secondary. The secondary was more powerfull then the primary which was just plain wrong. |

If we must continue to hate on the mass driver I must continue to point out the splash is only 117 on the proto variant the only way you could possibly 1 shot someone is to get direct slug headshot a hell of difficult thing to do!!
Its not overpowered, the burst scrambler pistol has a higher dps than it!! The only thing that could possibly be done is to increase the user splash radius, as it stands I believe it is smaller than the actual radius, if you made it 6-7m for the standard, 2m for the breach, and 8m for the assault!! Anything more than that and it will be nerfed into the ground!! |

This isn't exactly true, what needs to be "fixed" on the MD is splash damage and hitting the owner, I've seen it where Mass driver users should have been taking damage from how they were shoting the weapon and they were not at all, this is problem 1. Problem 2 is that the hit detection on the game is absolute bullshit along with the sound generator, it gives no bearing on where you are being hit from at all. As such when a Mass driver is hitting someone thier entire hit detection goes off in all directions giving an unclear and misleading picture of what is going on.
In short it is not the Mass Driver that is the problem, it is the mechanics working around the Mass Driver that make it so unbalanced. When these issues are worked out, along with other issues that will hopefully be worked out in the 1.4 patch this weapon will be doing the damage is should be doing rather then as it is now. Also, once people are able to tell where they are being hit from this weapon won't be nearly as effective. |

Yes buff the proxies. They are virtually useless as it takes 5+ to even wound a logi lav. But man do I love when I actually get a kill with these, I mean it usually takes the LAV doing donuts to actually hit all the proxies but it is still satisfying.
Oh and that damn beeping. Hate it. I would rather it just repeat "turn on hardeners." Proxies should be completely immune to hardeners that way the beeping can at least be a deterrent. |

Problem one is total BS. I have no trouble dealing damage to myself with the assault mass driver. granted the standard MD has a much smaller radius but even then a lot can happen before your shell hits the ground ESP in CQB. IMO I don't think you know the radius as well as you think you do. lower tiered MDs have smaller AOEs so that may be it, i don't know.
problem two is a feature, not a bug. I use suppressing fire with all my guns; it just works really well with the MD. also you're telling me that the trail of white smoke isn't enough of a tip of to my location. what about the fricking nano hive I'm tied to due to shallow amo reserves. the whole sound argument is silly because if I'm not hitting you then you or some one else near you can hear where I'm shooting from.
if you see the red ring of death It means you should move and move quickly, because the area will be exploding for the next 6 seconds.
Nerf it all you want, I'll just kill you with my SAR further off and faster. Be warned, the MD comes into its own as a crowed breaker weapon. If you nerf it you are going to see plenty of blobs of reds and the only way to deal with them will be lots of hives and lots of grenade spam.

1 a second is hardly spamming, you should consider more subtle changes that won't penalise those who use it the way it is meant to be!!
Besides 1.4 will be its downfall because the AR will have aim assist, if theynhave applied it to the md I will likely need to turn itmoff!! |
