I have been playing around with REs recently and I must say i am loving them. It is a thrill to sneak up on someone in a fire fight and plant one that they walk over or trap an objective. Takes me back to my TF2 times as a spy (raked over 200 hrs as that French bastard ) anyway, my point of this thread is that I have noticed that I can det my RE even after I have been killed, and not the i have responded after killed, but while I am still laying on the ground bleeding out. I haven't found this mentioned before and wasn't sure if it a bug or meant to be that way. Maybe a dev can confirm? |

As a corollary, you can also fire weapons during the revive animation after you've been injected even though you have no weapon out. This should probably be fixed as well - especially considering it has resulted in my death more than once when trying, just a tad too late, to request assistance only to find that someone had injected me, but I immediately fired my MD into the dirt at my feet.

This happened to me last night. Killed a scout during an isolated battle and then was RE'd 3-4 seconds later by said scout. Quite an unpleasant surprise lol |

We've been able to do this for ages. I'm pretty sure it's a bug. |

For a long time, bleedout RE detonation was everyday (bur or not). Uprising first took away that possibility by forcing onto killmail and map instead of bleedout view.
As you told it is now possible - but I haven't found a reliable way to do it, it works only about one time out of five. Of course it may be that the remotes themselves have fizzled and are naturally undetonetable (sigh).
Do you guys have a surefire way to detonate REs in bleedout? |

Might have been me. Been playing with the REs as a scout and hit a heavy that way last night next to an objective.

Don't know of anything special that I am doing, I just have to die with the REs actively equipped (in hand) and then press the det button.
