I would like to say there is no hate for BHD on my part, or any other members of ours to my understanding. Some times relationships do not work out, this is one such case.
In regards to the particulars, I know you were asked on multiple occasions to be a bit less hostile towards alliance corps members on the forums and choose not to heed our polite requests. It is unfortunate that this matter has affected everyone in your corp, since I really like a lot of you guys and look forward to still playing together in the future.
To be honest Ares no one from the alliance ever attempted to directly contact the leadership of BHD over this that I am aware of. I'm listed as the CEO in game and am known to be the leader of BHD since its inception over 7 years ago. Not one member of my leadership structure was ever directly contacted about any particular issue with one of our members. Nor has any other issue with our standing in the alliance prior to this been brought into question.
A truly casual gamer, like a casual corp, is supposed to be able to take a little internal and external razzing...hell Knight razzes me all the time, sometimes its even serious if he doesn't agree with me. I'm an adult, I can handle it.
Here is the only communication from the alliance to KnightSolitare that I was made aware of. As I said no officer was directly contacted. It is from Horner Langely.

I want to give you a very brisk warning so you know what's going on. Keep this in mind, I haven't went to your leadership yet because I aim to address the issue here and now with just you.
On the main dust forums, you continually undermine our corporation, our alliance and our members. Being a part of our alliance you should back the people in it. If what they say is not in you liking, then say nothing at all, the community will tear them up for what they say. But being torn apart by an alliance member should never be done and we will never condone it.
I have been watching everything you post (these are most recent): https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1128543#post1128543 https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1127971#post1127971
Your only options at this point are to stop treating our alliance, and our members, like they are beneath you. Or, you will risk the high probability of your entire corp being removed from the alliance as leverage for kicking you out of their corporation (Which I understand wont be such a problem cconsidering your recent employment history).
Consider these words carefully, though they may seem like an empty threat, I consider them a fair warning and slap on the wrist. If you value your position in our alliance that we've worked so hard for, then you will mind your words on the forums.
Horner Langly Management"
First off, I've been in positions of leadership my whole life both in the virtual world and in the real world. The way this message reads and was sent, to me, screams disrespect. Upon reading how some online person who is not part of BHD tried to censor one of our members I took offense. Upon reading his post in this thread I see my initial impression of this Langly individual was spot on. Want to test a man's character, give him power.......
Moving on. This message was shared with me after Knight decided to leave the corp on his own. When I read this and he told me that he left I asked him to come back. The stuff in those posts was child's play, a little fun banter at best and a little poking at some of the harsh realities of life in dust for the Defiance alliance at worst.
I can't talk, our corp has won only one round of a PC battle and not a whole PC battle so not tossing stones, just telling the reality and to be honest that reality never did bother me. I was more than happy to be in the alliance and happy to send our members to help out in alliance battles if and when they could do so.
See you around, shoot ya later maybe!
EDIT: Knight, nice response to the guy about how we are a casual clan that joined a casual alliance. Post #27 is spot on in that regard. |

On behalf of us all I apologize for the way this was handled and can only say we are striving to do better. Arguments aside about who said what or did what I recognize a number of failings on our part. My sincerest apologizes for this whole unfortunate business ...
Apology completely accepted.
If you would like a chance to "do better", have us re-join, and see how things go from there I have an open mind about it. Just let me know (here, via PM on the PSN to PLYMCO_PILGRIM, or on our corp's home bhdclan.enjin.com).
Before deciding know that even though I read Knights posts that were linked along with many that weren't, and do see him being a bit more "razzing" than I personally would like to see, I'm not willing to have my member's censor their opinions. I also see that he has gone a bit overboard on a few things since we were removed from the Alliance, its been noticed, and its not serving any real purpose at this point other than to express his dislike of what went down and how it went down.
With that being said, being open and honest with leadership is something I encourage within my corp. This is one aspect of the BHD crew that makes us strong, people are allowed to state their opinion even if it runs 100% counter to where the leadership is at. On a few occasions one of my members doing this actually saved us from making bad choices as leaders and I value their honest input on things and won't jeopardize that aspect of our crew.
So there it is. I'll leave it up to you how things move forward. If you have any other questions about where I stand ask me here or in the other 2 places I mentioned earlier.

EDIT: A great example of night just being a bit agitated at the way it all went down is the post right above this one ;). |
