One or two snipers on my team is very much welcomed, if they do their job. If I see them there I'll stick to my logistics/scout suits and fight on the front lines hoping that they have my back.
Eight snipers on my team means there is not much point in my trying to accomplish anything. I'll run scout suit and go hunting.
Even more frustrating is when we have no snipers and they have a good one or three that need to be dealt with and some blueberry jackass decides to harass me for the rest of the match because I switched to sniper to deal with theirs. |

Trying to portray yourself as an elite sniper? Looking down at all the little 'pawns' running around the field? Maybe you do support your team but from your perch I'm inclined to think you are one of the worthless ones.
I have a fit with prototype sniper rifle that I use about 1 in 3 matches. It can also engage at close range. Once I've picked off the red snipers and forge gunners I'm down in the trenches hacking and killing with my team.

I had someone keep sitting in front of me the other day, trying to share his grenades with me, and punching me in the back of the head to indicate his displeasure at my sniping. By the end of the match I had capped multiple objectives, laid out numerous uplinks, killed the enemy snipers enough that they stopped bugging us and was second from top of my team due to my contributions.
He continued even when I ran down to an objective that had just flipped to cap it back and continued to act like an ass.
He went 0/4 with 50 WP.
Be sure you're bugging people that are truly not contributing.

I thought the current sniper rifle is considered Caldari and a rail gun. The different models are probably place holders for the racial variants anyway. Maybe charged for Caldari, regular for Gallente and tactical for the Minmatar Precision Rifle.

Something isn't right with me today. I slept through my alarm.
Precision Rifle is Minmatar but listed as Short-Medium range. Not sure what that is supposed to be now. The Tac-AR version of the Combat Rifle?
All a mess. Can't wait until Wolfman/Remnant/weapons team get this sorted and delivered.

Hilarious, but a waste of time. If you can pop them from a distance best to do it and get on to something else. I admit it is really funny when you find an entire nest of the buggers and execute each one with a headshot at point blank range. You'd think they'd noticed their buddies disappearing around them. I wish every suit had a slot for knives for just this situation.
