This is a post about what pilots would like to see/be in the 1.5 update.
For starters lets just start with the basic of the dropship. Would people be cool with a bit more hp? There needs to be more hp so that dropships can last a little bit longer than usual. Secondly i would love to see some type of built in rep tool for the logi ships (for caldari they should have built in shield transfer, for gallente a built in remote armor).
Another easy thing that needs to be in by 1.5 is the wp (yes all of the wp, shield transfer/armor/spawn/transport). Now there are great posts that people have already made about how the points should be rewarded but if ccp does their own thing its cool (as long its fair).
Now to the good part: This isn't a must but we could use new modules. For example the cloak that was promised a while ago http://dust514.com/news/blog/2012/03/vehicle-dev-b/ just in case ya'll forgot. There is another module that i would like to see if its possible. Its kinda like a counter measure against forge guns. So you activate it and it puts a round sphere around you (do forge shot can get through but strong once can do a good amount of damage, it would be cool to see how you guys thing of this idea. Oh and yea the don't forget flares and smoke and what ever else there is that can stop swarms from hitting. Oh and of course make it so that you can only equip one type of counter measure.
Ok im running out of things to say but i'll make this my last. Can we get more skill type for the dropships? what i mean by this is that the Prometheus skill only give -2 cpu each lvl (same for caldari and gallente) and that's not a lot useful to the gallente because most of the armor stuff use more pg than cpu while shield stuff use more cpu. Its cool if ccp wants to keep it there but at least add another skill there like resistance? the assault dropship gets resistance skills and damage skills while the the transport ones get only one type of skill?
Well i hope you guys find good stuff in this post and btw please add your own opinion on what you would like to see. Please ccp don't mess up 1.5 |

I'd love to see the other races get vehicle love. Fed up of seeing the 2 variants going around. For me its the Min Dropship I'm looking forward to. If it conforms to type it should promise to be light, fast and customisable as hell |

Hopefuly they start adding more race stuff sooner rather than later cuz theres a lot of people (inculding me) that would've love to go all minmitar or the race of their choice. |

but its a hefty sized list for all vehicles and AV. |

dropships with maxed out SP are borderline survivable. if you get us more hp tho i will not argue against. biggest threat are multiple redlining railtanks that send taunt mail, as if they're not already gey enough in silence. the redline tanking issue needs to be addressed, as they can reach out to anywhere in the map from the safety of the reline.. we need SP for spawns, scanning, etc. |

That recon dropship would be an absolute dream to me, It could have huge potential for extractions and insertions in PC, without having to worry about proto AV. But the things i would be most excited to see is first and foremost, the final addressing of WP for logi dropships, because they have been pointless to pilots who want at least a little ISK from the beginning of their conception. There should also be an increase to the over-all HP, as stated many times in many different threads (a few of mine included), And another feature that's not often discussed is the ability to let blueberries know they need to bail out (useful for logi dropships). Half the time i fly my Eryx i get random blueberries that occupy the turrets trying to shoot at the MCC the entire game. Just a simple force-bail by pressing (insert button here) would do the job just fine, i wouldn't have to tell them when to bail because I'm the one that does it for them. |

Currently, they are working on the bomber ship, they have an item for it in eve with this description:

Been there -_- (though in my Prometheus) just get the hell out of my dropship and stop getting me shot up when you stupidly think you can take out a turret |

Derpships are fine but I want my ammar heavy aircraft with lazer turrets and some way to bomb people. I don't care if it fly 20m/s I'll still bomb u, but dropships need counters to swarms and boot on the ground need a counter to the counter it only fair. |

Plane-mode needs to go away!
I originally thought I'd get used to it, but I still hate the transition from flying brick to plane-mode. It's unintuitive and a mess to handle, especially when turning/tilting while it's transitioning from one mode to the other, like in pretty much every landing maneuver in practice. |

Im kinda of hoping for more modules and less one role fitted ships. For example the logi ships are logi we should have in built repair systems (either shield for cal and armor for gal) but the its not a must. I acutally like it better as it is right now (you get to put it on the way you want) but my point is logi should not have a built in cru becuse you cant heal that with vehicles... The #1 change i would die to see in 1.5 is the choice of turrets, what i mean by this is that the pilot should get to choose if he/she wants two turrets or just one or none at all. That way you can become a transport and get more pg and cpu for tanking. However all of these will go to waste if the wp system is not in place. Also i believe all pilots agree on the drop or green go button for the ships, as blueberries never get especially when you want them to. What type of modules or roles would you guys like to see? Vehicle enginner, built in vehicle repairs? or large ship that can carry more people? Say it!! |

I would like to see Amarr Derpships in 1.5.. But that won't happen, lol. That and small laser turrets, adding those onto the side of my ship and having people melt others faces off would make me feel amazing, it'd probably take the most skill out of all the turrets. [Save the rail turret which is godawful.] |

I would like it if they fixed the propulsion issues with the third person driving.. Also the steering. The engines happily rotate correctly for a little while before their rotation controls magically reverse mid flight... They maneuver like hot-air balloons with a propeller, (Yes I've flown in a balloon) but with a lot more speed, and the rotational engines magically stop all propulsion when upside down. |

Its funny cuz the gallente and the caldari ones look almost the same where the minmitar and the ammar looked way different. Oh god the small rails guns definitely need help. If they cant fix it they need to add medium once that dropships can carry. |

How about some better instruments/views? It is a pain to see directly below you while trying to land. Also obnoxious while trying to hold a position and you get a little off being perfectly neutral, then you are dancing back and forth trying to hover over an objective. Some sort of instruments would be nice... |

If we had large maps dropships wouldn't be used (90% of the time) as attack choopers. And with the lack of the wp system (something that should've been in ages ago) it makes it even harder to get wp. Which makes the pilot want to spec into good turrets and do nothing be let his/her gunner get kills as its the only way we get points. Av is kinda ballanced agianst dropships. You cant really get killed by av nades unless you get really close to the ground which would be the pilots fault in that case. Swarms do great amount of damge (proto) the only bad thing is we dont have flares to counter meassure with (tbh i hate it how they can curve around cover, not cool). And for forges well lets just say the only change they need it the damage fall off range or a counter meassure for it too. |

I would like to see an Amarr Logi DS that gives the pilot an eject function on the 2 turret seats, for those pesky dingleberries who won't get out and PTFO, and some type of laser minigun type turret that can only be obtainable by the Amarr line of DS. The same for other ships, a cluster-type warhead for the Caldari missile launcher turrets exclusive to their line of DS and a shotgun-type spread of railgun fire for Gallente line of DS. Or maybe a jovian scoutship that swoops in and activates an emp that disables all other vehicles in a 20-30m radius..... |

I would also like to see a larger aerial type vehicle, think RDV, no weapons or armament of anykind, slow moving, heavily armored, save for a man-cannon, able to launch pods, or guys themselves into tactical spots without having to think "is the dropship going so fast im going to land 10 miles away when i jump?" Or have each of the guys in the ship able to launch themselves when they see a good spot. This is probably not feasible, but i think it would be really cool, and a good pilot could lock down an objective throwing guys in the right spots |

I would like to see an early warning system, would work if there was no auto lock for swarms. and many new vehicles, including standard, adv, proto for all vehicle roles, not just two logi's and two assault. |
