True, many cross gen games end up being somewhat disappointing, but BF4 in 1080p at 60fps (over the jaggy blur that is the current gen version) is worth it to me.

I guess I'm just the type to generally move on pretty quickly from last gen consoles, in fact it's usually immediately. I also don't really care about things like backwards compatibility.
The only console I've every really needed to keep was my N64, and that was for OoT and drunk college sessions of super smash. |

I think my Genesis might still work, though last time I tried the controllers didn't. I've got a Nomad somewhere too, I should check that out. |

Friends and I still bring out the N64 from time to time for some good ol' Smash Bros. Samus my main, Captain Falcon, Kirby, and Ness for the others. Goooooooood times. Dust will survive just like the dust inside of my bookshelves. You can't get rid of it.

I was always Link even though he was pretty much crap. One roommate used pikachu and two others fox, needless to say I hated them (not really, but sort of). |

My friend had some ridiculous item rules he liked that favored fox.
Fox and Pikachu were so damn fast. The real nightmare though was how slow Link was to recover from his Up+B (and just how terrible it was in general). Being knocked even barely off the edge was pretty much a death sentence. Still crazy fun though. |
