I just recently restarted playing and am currently enjoying it after a 2 month break.
- What do/did you like about dust514?
My favorite thing about dust is that it is based in the EVE universe. I'm not a big fan of fps games normally, but I really enjoy/appreciate what CCP is attempting to do with dust. Also, I really like the fact that CCP seems to be trying to fix a lot of the current issues with the game, balance and such.
- What do/did you dislike about dust514?
I think one of the biggest dislikes I have about the game is the current lack of features that really a game like this needs, but I do hope that they get added sooner rather than later. Second on my list of dislikes has a lot to do with the community and the lack of understanding that it seems, at least to me, that CCP is attempting to turn the game around. And third, it seems to me that a large number of the player base would rather accuse someone of hacking/cheating after a match instead of just offering up a message of 'good game', or 'well played I'll get you next time'. Finley the lack of communication and back and forth from CCP where they keep trying to develop and balance in secret and hope that it will work out instead of engaging the community on it, although it does seem that CCP is working on that as well, but they may be taking to long.
- Do/did you have fun playing dust514?
I still have a lot of fun playing dust, for me dust is a very casual shooter game that has just enough risk to allow it to be interesting. While I will probably play pretty intensely for the next several months, I can see myself taking another break as it gets boring, but as with any game I play I will come back to it after a few months.
- Do you think it should be totally reworked?
I don't know about a total rework, but dust could definitely benefit from it. A lot of the ground work is there, mostly what not to do. I do like what CCP is doing with the current balance passes, at least what has been mentioned as being worked on. But by the time they are done with all of the balances we may end up with a very different game anyways.
- If you're not playing dust514 anymore, would you give it a second chance if they totally rework it?
As stated I still currently play dust, but if it was totally reworked, yes I would give it another go.
