Make it so that whatever HP the suit had when you run that suit over, you get that HP back as 2x damage TO THE DRIVER. If the damage is taken is more than the driver has, the suit survives.
Why are you looking at me like that? I don't see any seat belts on that LAV, do you? |

I had a similar idea, only damaging the LAV itself. Hitting a suit really should inflict more damage than it does, same with walls. |

I'd just be satisfied is slow speed nudges didn't result in death. If damage is speed based, then I'm all for getting plowed into. Some damage should be dealt for hitting people though, just like when you hit walls and rocks and it takes your shields lower.
In the meantime I'll just keep chucking Lai Dai's |

So the driver would take 20,000 damage?
Sure, I guess. Would still prefer if collision damage was always "friendly fire" style. You know, for balance and whatever. |

This is what they plan on doing. No more extra damage, however, as that's stupid. |

Militia suits have 300~, Proto suits have 600~ heavies have 1200~. You will not survive an encounter with a heavy, like it should be |

LOL this idiot today in his LAV, in his effort to maneuver the hills we were fighting on, pushed me into the middle of the firefight and left me there.
I wanted to swarm his LAV into the stratosphere... |

This is not instant. This requires a significant amount of coding. |

I'm almost certain an LAV hit dishes out 10,000 damage. |

We're all shooting the same bullets and throwing the same grenades. Why don't they damage teammates? That's ******* stupid and makes no sense.

If they turn on friendly fire, I want the ability to remote self destruct any ******* that steals my ride. Leaving me to die after I come in to help them in a fire fight. |

Why are you looking at me like that? I don't see any seat belts on that LAV, do you? Have you ever hit a large dog in a car before while not wearing a seat belt? I have. A great pyrenees wandered onto the highway at night and I hit it at 55mph. I GAURANTEE you I took less than 2x the damage it did.
Evidence: I'm here, it's not.
Your "fix" would be beyond even New Eden Sci-Fi lore's ability to explain away even semi-logically without stretching itself greatly.
Better solution: the sudden shock of the impact knocks out our hyper-futuristic engine for 15 seconds every time you hit someone or something too fast. If they go to roadkill and miss only to hit a wall, or even if they connect, they better be ready to hop out and hold their own long enough to let the engines restart. Plus this gives the enemy team 15 seconds to AV it before it can even move again.
This would also make LAV drivers drive more safely and make them require skill to drive. Leave low speed roadkills in, but make them have to drag you a good distance doing steady damage before your health fully depletes.
Hey, look! I found a way to make driving a car in a video game actually a SKILLED CLASS rather than a spammable troll feature!
