Dust and eve interact somewhat... Cool. But developing dust under the same ideas eve was founded upon... Stupid In order to make a successful fps it has to be made like a fps, treated like a fps. This is where ccp fails. Unless ccp gets into the fps mindset and stray from mmo, it wont get better. Respecs are needed to keep the game alive, this game blocks us from content not because its overwhelming with content, you literally cant "fully" spec into something without painfully grinding for almost half a year. This is not how you go about developing a fps on a console. This game will flop going in the direction it is unless ccp takes a dose of their own meds. "adapt or die."
Ps: i know the topic title is bad lol, but the point is clear. |

You guys never miss your quotas. meanwhile, the people still enjoying this wish you guys would quit already. The people that plan to stick out for the long haul needs to be heard. Not you guys.
LOL, its like, what you developed? What game are you making? Oh you not?? Please be quiet then... im not for the long haul? I have 18 mil sp bought tons of boosters, thats when this game was looking good. Unlike many i have no plans to quit dust, but if dust going to survive on console this is what needs to happen. |

Ps: i know the topic title is bad lol, but the point is clear. So... you want a respec? As much as I love my fellow allies... I disagree. Its an MMOFPS and should stay that way. COD and BF do pure FPS better. Perhaps you could try them out? Rode the cod train for years, i play bf frequently. The rpg aspects are great, but the mmo mentality is ruining it, maybe because the game is not an mmo (yet) guess what im saying is its still a beta and should be treated so. |

But Dust is going to survive. Shouldn't you consider that grind another piece of worth to the Dust gameplay? Yes, its bittersweet. More bitter than sweet at first, but that should promote more game playing time. I don't know. I've played BF and COD. Not saying I'm an expert at FPS games but what I am saying is this: I have put plenty hours into both games. Not once did me and other players in the same predicament complain about having new content. They released map packs and that's about it. We dealt with it over there. Heck people can pick up MW3 and still have a thriving community. Then you come to Dust, and everybody wants new content. Huh? But you're content to keep playing the same TDM and CTF in other games for extended periods of time and when you get bored, you break and then return? But now Dust needs more content? I just don't understand the double standards here. Im not talking about new content, im talking about existing content (roles) imo core mechanics need to be worked out before any new content is released.
