Because, while the armor repairing rate would be phenomenal, there would still be obvious weaknesses of the heavy suit. Sure, you may heal faster after battle, but your stamina and speed are still awful, and without regulators or kincats you can't get to where you need to go quickly. That's why I use 2 armor repairers and 2 cardiac regulators on my proto Sentinel.

see if u can fit 2x complex rechargers and the best level possible of 1x rep, 1x shield reg, 1x cardiac or a 2nd shield reg.
it's what i'd throw on for an ambush HMG proto hvy fit if i had one. |

would prefer at least a kincat in one of the lows. or a shield regulator. half ur HP is in shields which regen at what, like 20HP/sec if you can get through the delay. why do heavies always forget half their HP are in shields?
that said, think my dren heavy has an enh shield recharger and 2x basic reps so... i get where you're coming from. |

We don't forget bro, I've made a shield build but with only 2 highs its not orth losing the DMG mods for tbh.
For any that care my proto basic build:
Highs; complex DMG mods
Lows; enhanced cardiac regulator, complex repper, enhanced plate
Boundless HMG or Ishikone FG
Core Flaylock
Flux nades.
