I know this has been raised numerous times in the past, but we are surely at a stage in Dust now where a DFT is just plain sensible. Who REALLY has the time or inclination to keep creating fits and then deleting them in the actual game when we really should just be out there playing and earning SP?
I'd rather be on my lunchbreak, pulling out my iPhone (no this is not an Android vs iOS vs Windows discussion) and coming up with my next "OP" fit or figuring out what racial suit to next spec into. Time well spent IMHO.
What's more, having access to the stats that CCP have been hiding from us for so long would be nothing but BENEFICIAL for overcoming weapon imbalances, or researching scenarios that best suit your next equipment, vehicle or weapon ideas.
I realise this would require some full time work by some CCP Devs, but hell, you got plenty of them, and even more of a pool to resource them from.
PLEASE GIVE US A DFT. |

You must be new here. We have one up and running since late open beta. And I'm pretty sure some third party app developer and maybe a PC application developer has probably already got their product waiting for the API to finally open up.
But of course the one we have is an excel spreadsheet saved in Google drive. |

Apologies.
I should have given the Excel fit sheet a shout out as it is the only option we have and the effort by the author is appreciated.
However, I am talking about an official tool released by CCP. I would think they should have a program ready to go as soon as the API keys are released, but there is still no word on when that is happening. It would be truly appreciated if CCP could actually provide a touchscreen friendly app or page that would allow everything we have come to love off EFT. |

The open spreadsheet dust fitting tool that is out there is somewhat behind although the 3rd party who built it has spoken up in the past few days stating he's working on it. As for why you put it in feedback/request section as ccp afaik never stated their making a 3rd party app(or did they say a psvita version at fanfest I can't remember) ccp has never put out an out of game fitting tool for eve the famous eft is a 3rd party application based off the eve database and using the eve API feed. |

Yes, they have previously alluded to creating an app for Merc Management for the Vita. It's more or less what I'd like to see now, but to be available on tablets and smartphones. |

You do know that EFT isn't made by CCP, right?
There's no official fitting tool for EVE made by CCP, what makes you think they'd make a DUST one?

Yes, I am WELL aware EFT is not made by CCP!
The reason I believe they would is because if they are being prompted to make Vita app then it should be at least an inclusion, if not its own entity. What's more, a Dust fitting tool has less to update currently than Eve, which would be the perfect time to get a start on it. |
