I really want to make my missile Gunloggi work, but forge guns are everywhere, and I have to consider the price that I'll pay to replace a tank.
So on my most recent Gunloggi fitting, I've got 5200 shields (vs my normal 5800), and replaced a hardener with another shield booster, giving me two small shield boosters. I use two small blasters for backup, and a cycled missile launcher as my turret, since I aim for installations and other vehicles, though I do occasionally swap it out for a fragmented launcher for infantry area denial. Will i be able to survive this way? Will the forge gun overlords just tear me apart?
Just need some feedback, and general missile tank tactics/advice. |

I think that if you're into missiles you should get the Enforcer HAV skill to the max to at least have some more damage on your missiles. The Enforcer gets an additional low slot which is godsend for more PG upgrades. Are you using a heavy shield booster? I think you should ditch the small boosters and equip a large one. Then you can equip small shield extenders for more HP. Either way with how OP AV is forge guns will still **** you. If I were a tank driver I'd just recall anytime I see a forge gunner. Thank god I just evade them with my LAV. And change the small blasters for standard missile turrets, you're going to need all the PG you can get.

Use a large booster. Always. Fill your lows with PGmods and fill everything else with hardeners. |

Hmm... skill into shield adapters if you haven't already; to at least level 3 for the Ward Shield Amplifiers

Just need some feedback, and general missile tank tactics/advice. yes. some tactics and help but most i can offer is teamwork related tactics. on a non-squad its all about your driving and your fittings. i play a loose and dangerous game of running light extenders if at all one ward resistance mod and 2 surges and heavy extender. if your counting that only 4 modules, i run remote reppers but you can replace that with light extender/booster. its important to never let an enemy ds to get more then 10m off the ground, ever. |

Coming from a sheild tank vet, ive learned that you should NEVER put a hardner on your tank. Stack a few resistance amps, get it up to 30% and you basicaly have a hardner running. All the time. The difference is a hardner lasts for 10 seconds and cools down for 30.... Use 1 heavy extender, 1 heavy booster, 3 amps(or two if u have wards) and put two PG mods in the low slots. When you get wards, u get alot of freedom to get another high slot. I would suggest maybe a nitrous injector, a scanner, another extender, or a booster. Get a Falchion and ffitting becomes a lot easier. |

Also, use Accelerated. I can snipe infantry from 400m away with it |

Well, I read and compiled all of the advice posted here, thanks to all of you for it. I have made a fresh fitting. It goes something like this;
Chassis - Gunloggi Highs - x1 Heavy Shield Extender x1 Light Shield Extender x3 Shield Resistance Amplifiers (Adding up to +30% shield damage resistance)
Lows - x2 PG upgrades (increasing maximum PG by +20%)
Turrets - x1 Accelerated or Cycled Missile Turret (Because I've read that accelerated is for longer ranges, while cycled is supposedly possessed of higher DPS. Please correct me if I am mistaken.) x2 Militia Missile Launchers (because I don't see them as too important, and am on a budget.)
Critique away. |

Well that one doesn't have a booster....how are you planning to restore your shields? And try basic small missile turrets for lowest PG possible.

Get those better PG mods, and fast. Your gonna need that extra PG. Also, youve gotta have a heavy booster, use it in place of the extender. Use everything on ther as supplemental so it all fits, and use the Heavu Converse Booster. Lets squad sometime and ill give out more tips. |

When you get the chance; change it to this...
Chassis - Gunloggi Highs - x1 Heavy Shield Extender x1 Heavy Clarity Ward Shield Booster x3 Ward Shield Amplifier (Adding up to ~%40 shield damage resistance)
Lows - x2 Local Powergrid Expansion Unit
Not my best fitting but, it works quite well. |

Alright...I'll give up the light shield extender for it. Hope it doesn't make too much of a difference. And yeah, we should do that. I'll add you as a contact. |
