Not the best sidearm, bu the Nova Knife is fantastic for those rare moments that you catch an enemy unaware. |

All sidearms are good, frankly, though Novas are limited in utility.
SMGs are solid weapons, their hipfire is pretty good, ADS tracking is excellent. Great in CQC, better at mid-short range than people think.
Flaylocks are still good finishers, burst damage versus armour is excellent. They're a complement to a main weapon rather than a fallback. Also good for destroying DUs from a distance, this is actually very useful.
Scrambler Pistols have decent range and some of the best close-up damage potential out there. Headshots at quadruple damage. Considered harder to use but capable of delivering amazing results. The best in shootout scenarios.

The new falloff mechanics are great for this. It does miniscule damage at the edge of pre-falloff AR range, but it's enough to finish that last 5% armor on a guy you almost killed. |

I use flaylock because I need the low cpu and pg, if I could fit a decent submachine gun on my fit I'd honestly prefer it.
I don't prioritize my side arm, so I will stick with the flay lock |
