I've blown up LAVs with my laser rifle before, and did a good deal of damage to a Madrugar that couldn't shift out of park.
It's not unheard of. |

You're right, taking down 2 LAV's and an HAV from full health to dead is totally possible.

It was feasible back in the days of the OP tac AR, concentrated small arms fire was a major hazard to vehicles. |

I recall - I also recall the glitch that kept spawning HAV's if you called one in. Glorious. |

The AR is OP, one time I was staring down the last standing heavy of his squad with my AR. There we were guns drawn pointing at eachothers brainpans, both waiting and watching for the other to make a move. Liitle did he know I was out of ammo after perforating the rest of his squaddies.
I yelled a loud, "BOOM MUTHA*****!" That combined with the OP'ness of the AR was enough to make his head pop like a strawberry strapped to a M80.
