I recently got my Falchion, and ive got to say, it is infinitely better than my Gunny. Ill put a large missle turret on it, and shred enemy Maddies and destroy Somas/installations in two bursts. With the 3rd low slot, i can finally have two PG modules and still have a damage mod, heat sink, or even just another PG mod. I havemt really noticed a huge reduction in speed, even tho it says theres a 34% reduction to movement speed in my stats. The CPU reduction is also minimal. I mean come on, im swimming in CPU in my Gunny and the Falchion only has 10 less. I could complain about the price, but it doesnt really affect me. Ive called it in 5 matches in a row and didnt lose a single one. One thing about it, i NEVER call one in unless i have two good gunners ready to go and with repair tools. All in all, i love my Falchion a lot more than my Gunny. Its just so AWESOME. |

Even better if you received the 100 Falchions and turrets from the event a couple weeks ago. |

Gunners with repair tools on a falchion? it's always good have active gunners, but with about 1000 hp or armor, 90% of time, if they are able to take aways your shields even with 2 repair tools on you, they will out DPS you. That bring to another point, we need a shield repair tool and we also need a proto repair tool for vehicles, looking at the stats the adv repair tool it's not so different from the proto variant. http://wiki.dust514.info/index.php?title=Repair_Tool

On my tank alt, I am a little ashamed to admit this but I took out a falchion with my madrugar, by accident it was trying to sneak up on me and I was in a compound and started to get hits from AV so I activated my nitro and headed for the nearest exit and crashed straight into the falchion destroying it instantly. I didn't even know it was a falchion till the owner messaged me asking if that was intentional. |

I don't know what's up with you but almost every game I call my missile Falchion into the game I become a glaring target for AV. I've even stopped calling it in (even though I got 100 for free) because I am losing too many too frequently and proto turrets are too damn expensive.
Sadly I've resorted to using a Gunnlogi with a compressed particle cannon for railgun sniping to make ISK. It's actually better than a Falchion for the same job. |

It's always the same, there are 2 options for every match

 - All the enemy team is AV
 - Nobody in the enemy team is AV (NO, they don't know the AV nades and they have deleted the AV starter fit)

Yup, only thing i even have to worry about is railgun and forge snipers. I admit, any fool with his railgun sittin behind his redline will destroy me. Same with any other tank that isnt a railgun sniper. Any other Maddie, blaster or missle, i will dominate. Armor is like paper to my missle launcher, and i always stay at medium range combat wth my Falchion. Thats the secret to keeping your tanks everyone, always play the medium range game. If your a blaster tank, which is what i always do with my Gunny, then NEVER get right next to the enemy. Stay at a decent range, bout 30M. I stay at around 100M with my missle Falchion, and i havent lost one yet, as ive said. Ive shreded railgun maddies that were withi as welln range of me. My 5100 sheild with 40% damage reduction passive as well as a 30% active hardener is well suited for anything short of a 80G compressed Particle Cannon with stacked damage mods. I almost lost my tank to one of those fags behind their redline,(i dont have a problem with the ones that actually drive) it brought me down to 200 armor. Thats why i have two gunners with reppers. I have no way to get out of fire damage, and if i get behind cover while im on fire, i survive 90% of the time. I also have a guy that runs two remote sheild reppers on a LLAV, with all these other things makes my Falchion nigh indestructable. I just wish that we had Marauder tanks back, so i could use a better blaster tank. |
