I can confirm the same issues as noted above. In addition to that over the last 2 days there growing numbers of people getting the notification error "lost connection with voice chat...reconnecting" and getting no coms at all.
I was playing yesterday morning no issues, checked out and came back the same afternoon and haven't been able to get voice coms of ANY kind since. I confirmed with other folks I play with some of them are having the same issues. |

I have seem many that can speak but never have a mic icon next to their name. I myself have been in this situation for nearly a month. Its damm annoying, please fix. |

I really should come here more often, I have also been having problems with chat icons normally one two or three people in channel will show com icon. |

as I said earlier, this bug hits hardest because is the only workaround for a voice chat system that is devoid of working useful features.
In addition to PTT not working during load screens, it doesn't work when you're waiting to spawn... |

My mic is not working at all in game, has been like this a few days, I see a blue mic on the right hand side of screen but none next to names, tested with xmb settings and all works fine there, any ideas? |

Correct. Only 3-4 chat icons are visible at a given time despite 16 in channel. Chat-muting not possible and its affecting PC performance still.

ok so yeah that mic shtako is really bugging me. its bad enough that i cant mute some a-hole from singing on team chat cause i cant tell which one is doing it(either no mic icon or it never turns green) but now i cant even see my own icon any more so i always have to ask my sqd if they can hear me. fix it now plz! it happens in my own squads as well some people have never had voice icons yet they use mics all the time |

This is wide spread, my whole corp gets this and it makes it very hard for PC matches
I'm honestly surprised this has not been mentioned sooner, this has been going on since 1.2/1.3 uprising
To answer both your questions: Yes to the first one, and not 100% on the second
I just tried the second one and it worked fine muting and unmuting |

Players without mic icon can speak, but cannot be muted.
If someone has the mic icon you can mute them. |

When i log on the first time, i must log out and back in again every single time, untill i see my bubble or i won't hear anybody speak nor can i speak myself. Its starting to get annoying, please fix this asap. |

I thought this was fixed some ago, anyway AFAIK this is not strictly related to the problem, because you can't hear anyone, while the other do actually hear the teamates but the speech bubbles do not appear, preventing them from being muted.
About such problem, I had it yesterday, I couldn't mute a teamate because there was no speech bubble.  |

I'm still waiting for this to be fixed. At the moment only around 3 or 4 bubbles will show up, regardless of how many people are on chat.
It's a pain to not be able to mute people or see my own bubble to judge if background noise is causing feedback. |
