Minimatar Assault doesn't increase max ammo. It increases clip size (at least that's how I understand the description).

It is absolutely the best weapon ever (if you have skill with getting headshots) It does 400% damage than normal if headshot. so with complex dmg mods = 400 dmg of advanced scrambler assault pistol if head shot- thats more than sniper rifle, why aren't people using these- you can skrew over cal logs if they stand still and fire at you.

Eh, I tried out the advanced scrambler pistols, breach, tri-burst, and the semi-auto, and I am not a fan. Breach is too slow, tri-burst is Ok, but still as slow as the breach when you consider you have to make all three shots hit to do decent damage, and the semi-auto magazine runs dry way too fast.

I could see this being a great weapon for kb/m users since they can aim on a dime 2 miles out while simultaneously doing a side-strafing backflip, but for controller users with no aim-assist ATM, it's pretty useless -- at least for me.

Also, yes the total ammo does run out fast if you don't use your shots wisely but you know there's a skill for increasing that too.

All my guides say to equip an SMG, unless you can get consistent head shots, in which case, equip a Scrambler Pistol. It is a skill based weapon. Those who like it, like it a lot. The rest use the SMG.

Hmm...maybe another reason shields are "op" is that scrambler rifle and pistol are single shot and hard to use if you don't have the skill, so I don't see much of them. If aim assist makes it easier to use those in 1.4 it could spell trouble for shield tankers.

Isn't the assault 7 in the clip by default? I may be mistaken - switched to the breach a few weeks ago and haven't looked back since.
