EVE Players use Teamspeak or other Voice Chat Programs, hello!
What made you think that a Tactical FPS MMO wouldn't require anyone one to use voice?
Oh boy here we go.
Now we are stuck with a voice comm system that is broke that is also breaking the game. |

Regardless of the voice comms used, they are right. In Eve, voice comms are much cleaner and quieter. |

Ironically, the GTA series has historically had horrible and loose mechanics that were mostly tolerated because of the style and humor of the series. |

MAG had a system similar to what CCP wanted. It worked just fine.
The OIC could talk to all 127 other players at once, or just other platoon leaders, or just his squad.
Platoon leaders could talk to the OIC and other platoon leaders, or squad leaders in their platoon, or just their squad.
Squad leaders could talk to other squad leaders, or their platoon leader, or just their squad.
Squad members could only talk to their squad.
Plus MAG had proximity chat so you could talk to literally anyone, friend or enemy, if you got close to them.
MAGs chat system worked just fine.
MAG had 256 players in a round. |
