Not everyone knows who we are or cares, but we have left the Top Men alliance. No drama or anything like that. We simply want more independence.

We appreciate the relationships and knowledge gained from alliance members and corps. We will always have your back.

What I want to make clear, though, is that Se\7eN's decisions and actions from this pointforward do not represent Top Men. I don't want us to attack someone and them to think it's an alliance decision.

Again, thanks to Top Men and all its mercs.

 Happy Gaming!!!

We appreciate S.e.V.e.N.'s time with us, and the contributions they made to our alliance. However, I think both S.e.V.e.N. and the alliance realized somewhere around the same time, that there were some strong compatibility differences. They have a great corp, we wish them the very best, etc.

There is no "all." We have one district. Our other district is on PFC, where we've had numerous great matches.

We're not backing out of PC; we're just gaining some independence.

Honestly alliance politics interfered with our ability to enjoy the game. That and maybe my resistance to authority...We disagreed on almost everything. Alliance policy, Alliance structure, PC strategy, and so on. Basically we had two very different ideas of what an "alliance" was.

Now we can make our own choices, play the game our way, and not bring any backlash on them.

Their leadership probably wants them to be middle of the road guys in a top alliance, instead of top guys in a middle of the road alliance. They miss out on building something from the ground up, but they get to get in on more of the action I suppose. If they join EoN....well they get ISK out of it but hurt the game and look bad. Maybe they could join LOI to help them compete against EoN.

Anyways they can do whatever they want. I'm curious as to the reason too. "Independance" doesn't have many benefits other than freedom to choose an alliance that's getting more money from PC.

Wow that's a lot going on behind closed doors about a game in which your choices are squadding up for a pub match, queueing for FW, or PC. How did the two parties manage to complicate that?

And is that the royal "we"? I wonder how many corp members were consulted.

The royal "we" includes every member that participates in our corp forum. It was unanimous that we leave. And there is actually a lot going on behind closed doors ZaX. Stuff we didn't agree on. So we left. "we" are trying to be nice about it.

 heheh ok ok. /rage

If you couldn't agree on what an alliance should be, leaving was the right choice. Good luck with whatever's next.

From my knowledge of how it was handled, S.e.V.e.N. handled it in an extremely classy fashion. A consensus was reached (I was told it wasn't "unanimous", as posted here, but nothing anywhere is ever unanimous, so that's not a huge deal), and our leadership were notified appropriately. They stuck with us through the busiest part of our recent in-game activity, which helped us out a lot.

zzZaXxx, if you have any further questions, feel free to address them with your CEO or myself in private. Thanks.
