I'm not great at FPS games but you don't see me complaining about getting my ass handed to me. Except for now. Me and a fellow corp member were playing last night and were put in to a couple matches versus a squad of "Team Players" and their CEO none other than CHICAGOCUBS4EVER. In the first match we were In the match for a few minutes. Then redlined. No problems there getting my butt kicked. But we meet them again couple matches later. 5 null cannon bridge map. Wow in less than 5 minutes redline. Ok no problem. WTH sniped as I land out of MCC and start running to top of hill from spindal tower on our MCC side. Ok WTF ran over by killer taxi as I spawn at CRU on our side in RED ZONE. I was killed 2 times this way and others also. Then couple matches later our team redlines another team. Wow we protect nulls and dont go camping the MCC or CRU in the redline. Other team did take a cannon couple times but then lost it. They tried to fight. I was trying to against TEAM PLAYERS but was not even getting the chance to hit the ground. Being a Noob , scrub or whatever has no bearing on what The team was having to deal with. Then you guys want to ***** about AFKing and redline sniping. Get a clue as to why so many new people leave and others AFK. Lost all respect for Team Players and their CEO.
Is this another nerf TP or QQ thread?
Change spawn points, work with your team, flank the red dots or atleast distract them long enough to make a move some where else. This is exactly what happens when people don't play with their Comms ON or just do whatever the hell they wanna do.
I'm sure if you had a coordinated team, you'd be able to give any Corp a hard time.
I see your point but I have to disagree with you. Good communication will only get you so far. in fact, Supior gunplay is infinitely better than supior communication. I've played first person shooters (for example, B3) where no one even has a headset and we absolutely decimate the other team because we just aim better and the enemy team all goes negativem
On the flip side, I've played games where we are legitimately trying to work out what to do and everytime we make a move we get killed because no one can f-ing aim.
Also, in MAG, perhaps some of you have heard of [~^~] The Dark Flock? The majority of games, we would just bullsh*t and talk about whatever and never talk about teamwork or the game. This is in part because in order to join everyone had to have a KDR of 2 to 1 - so rarely did we even have to 'try' to win. I remember one time I ran into an entire squad actually crouch walking in a V formation. They were close to the objective so they must have made it all the way from their spawn point. Imagine the coordination to pull something like that off? I killed them all.
