You guys need to get with the times, that Caldari logi suit is sooooo last week Live and learn, If it looks to good to be true IT IS!! Hence why I never specced into it, I didnt chose the 'lesser' suit at the the time for funsies I did because im not a crutch weilding COD player. 2.5mil SP for a Logi suit, now you can spec into a assault suit like everyone else who wants to run N gun. PS its not a nerf, not you have the same HP pool as everyone else, Welcome to DUST 514.

Another nobody who thinks the only reason people want respecs is because people specced into a FOTM that got nerfed. ******* idiots. THERE ARE MANY MORE REASONS THIS GAME NEEDS RESPECS.

If they ever relaunch the game (my money being either 14th May next year or PS4 release) then the skill system will have to be completely overhauled. It works well in EVE (the skill system), but FPS games are more about skill. New players will need some incentive to keep playing, forcing them to plunge a month or more to unlock a proto suit (that they won't be able to fit properly) is not going to convert new players into $-úGé¼.

The penalty sets the frequency at which one can respec one class of, say, 15m SP and then regain the penalty for the next one. 1.5m or 2.25m SP would be an almost monthly respec. Even quicker with boosters. The idea of encouraging characters to keep total SP low (to keep the penalty low aswell) and respec rather than bank SP doesn't sit well with me either.

That's more than enough time to grind some more SP into something else, or just save it to adjust your fitting to compensate for the nerf. But if you suddenly log in one day and everything got changed around with no announcement or even a damn bullet on the patch notes, that's not fair and you should be allowed to have a respec on general purpose because the devs didn't give you time to prepare.

I myself think respecs for AUR would help the game. After the racial variants are out a respec will happen. To bad we will all be on ps4 by then.

I will let passive accumulate and CCP can play the Nerf ping pong game all they want. One year I may return and when I do I will have a crap ton of SP waiting for me to spend. Respec will happen for several reasons, but the main one will be the release of all content. I feel this may happen in 1.5 because after 1.5 some heavy hitting AAA'a are being released along with the PS4 and when that happens this playerbase is going to take a huge hit. CCP is going to have to give us something to keep us around because the current state of DUST is not going to do that.
