well in a way they should be tall since they hang out in a space station between battles so they should also have some decent weight like 160-230 or more depending if they are scout, assault, logi or heavy but the heavy might be 200-270 without armor on |

I know the difference between weight and mass. I was just assuming he meant mass, seeing how we fight on many different planets, many of which would not have the same g variable. |

Sorry - I'm from Texas where we don't really teach our children, so I was a bit stumped. |

Weight is directly relative to the gravity well in which you are standing. I am a skinny clone on smaller planets and I am a giant fatty on bigger ones.
Mass is not relative but weight certainly is. |

That brings up an interesting point though, to what G is our kit rated too? They may work fine in a 1G environment but in a high or low G environment? If tech limitations are overcome something interesting could come of this. |

I think we are supposed to be about 7 meters tall (giants!) which make the weapon ranges seem even more ridiculous.
Considering how high we can jump I would say we are very heavy. You'd think an augmented power suit would let us jump higher and run faster/longer than an average human.

Um, 7 meters is a bit much - please remember that there are people inside these - these are more like Iron Man suits. |

We do that already, look at the movement speed for dropsuits in the stats in the fitting system, it's measured in metres per second, I imagine the suits contain some form of exo skeleton that improves our physical capabilities. |

The HMG clocks in around 250 lbs.
Cloners are about 7 ft high without the suits. weighing about 250-300 lbs give or take despite our augmentations that would proportionally expectancy put us under weight at that height.
Most of our rifle like guns are 15 lbs+
Pistols are probably floating around 7 lbs+
And as other said depends on the race and weight class of the suit. Amarr heavies are probably the heaviest suit, followed by Caldari, Gallente then the Minmatar.
Armoring methods vary from race to race as well, Gallente use Skin suiting techniques, Amarr physically augment the armor into the body, caldari and minmatar are probably the most traditional with just a few sensor jacking exoskeletons.
Then there is the shielding and reactor systems, which has to be sufficient enough for the expected life expectancy of the clone so a few siverts worth would probably be leaking combined but keeps the reactor and required shielding small enough to not instantly fry the clone's functional bits.
My estimates put the dropsuits from a quarter to half tonn range. |
