I dunno, I've got Lai Dai AVs and proto hives. I can chuck grenades all day, even if 3 or 4 hit they'll drive off with most of their health and be back in a minute. Not sure why a jeep should be able to take more damage than most tanks, move faster than tanks, and cost way less.

For a while I've been agreeing with people the LLAV is overpowered, but I'm taking that back, it's not OP, it's strong because scrubs let it be strong.

the dark cloud, love him or hate him, has proven to me that most people are just scrubs and can't AV for ****.

I don't quite see what's funny.

If you are laughing at the fact I got hit by three swarms and died, not every AVer is bad at what they do, some people actually know how to fit their suits.

If you are laughing because you do not believe what I've told you, then I just hang my head and sigh, fight a proficient AVer and you'll die quickly. People just don't want to put the work in and expect their skills on paper to mean instawin.

On topic, the LLAV makes Dust 514 different from all those other FPS games, but certainly not in a good way.

The fact that you let him get 3 shots on you with a proto AV (likely using complex damage mods if he really is as good as you claim) doesn't mean diddly. All you had to do was run away or get an obstruction between his swarms and your LAV, which is easy on most maps.

A major part of the problem is vehicles are binary in Dust 514, they're dead or they're 100% combat effective. There's no middle ground, I can't immobilise you or damage your engine or suspension. If he had hit you with 2 volleys you could have just done a circuit of the map while your shields and armour repaired themselves, then come back and run him over with 100% health.

Takes three dual damage modded compressed particle cannon shots with max turret skills to kill a Charybdis.

That things got more tank than... tanks! I two-shotted a Gunnlogi today, but it was probably crap fit.

And dropships need a lot of love; I bring down most dropships in one shot, while the small amount of well tanked ones take me two shots.

Now imagine proto tanks and dropships on the same level as a Charybdis

Hint: take any blaster turret, large or small, and just start shooting at the LLAV. You are guaranteed to kill the driver, after which the LLAV is an easy kill.
