There is honour in service. And yours to the State, is honourable work. Why shirk that duty in fear or self pity, when you can embrace it with the pride and solidarity your people are known for?

I fight for Isk. If you pay me enough ( 75% in advance for supply costs ( supply cost include hiring cost of mercs that I will hire personally for you) ) and tell me to take down a titan. I will do it. Also I fight against idiots who support country especially the amarr and with what my family did to me.

I fight that one day my people might not fear that Ammarians might snatch them from their homes without remorse. Though the isk helps.

Brother, it isn't that duty that I am running from. Regardless of what I think of your faith, I respect Templars for their devotion towards defending their empire. I hold the same devotion to my State, I assure you. I'm running from myself. All I have ever looked for in this life was a chance to start fresh.

There is no battle to fight anymore. All I can do is refrain from allowing myself to slip any further than I already have into violence. The Dragonaurs turned me into a weapon, and I did not realize how much they had broken me until far afterwards. Thankfully, friends have shown me that I can be far more than that.

Yes yes it is at all cost ( until you loose profit) you should fight for isk

I do not need ISK when I have the Faith, and the knowledge that I am one of God's chosen.

While ISK may pale in the light of God's grace, templar, and while I understand very well why you feel the need to express this sentiment to our very "mercenary" mercenary colleague, you have to admit that an Imperial scrambler rifle doesn't go amiss in helping to spread God's will.

If you'll forgive the observation, stained glass and heat-resistant lenses seem like two crafts whose artisans rarely go hungry in the Empire.
