Ok so you basically dual tank. Since you don't get any shield bonuses since you're a logi have you thought about just having 3 damage mods? Can you even fit them? I'm guessing you use a combination of ferroscales and basic plates because of the high CPU/PG cost of the ferro. I do same with my fat suit.

You use ferroscale to decrease the stacking penalty of the plates. If I just used no ferroscale and only one basic plate...I'd move slower than with my 2 basic and one enhanced once I decrease the penalty with the first 2 (some fits 3) ferroscale. I used enhanced on this fit because pub matches don't need the extra pg to run uplinks. The stacking penalty on plates targets the lowest penalty(s) first.

I tried single, double, and triple damage mods, and I can fit em (2 pg less and only 3 cpu more) however It's not worth it because the dust community mentality zeroes in on anyone into their armor. Personally I'd like to see this done away with, only one bar for the HP, not shield and armor. Also locus nades, I can stand one if I have over 200 shields and 500 armor (does 900 to armor on impact?)

so choose based on how you want to play the game, or because of aesthetic concerns. If you prosper, is it not a better proof of your abilities then trolling through forums looking for the next FotM?

lol you have no idea. i choosed gallente due to the high damage potential. You can put damage mods in the high slots and tanking modules in the low. Works out for me.

Meh that was instant turn off for me. I love Amarr cause they're the bad guys. lol slavers.

The Amarr aren't even remotely bad guys and if you actually bothered to learn anything about them you would see that they do not take slaves in the conventional sense.

Yes armor sucks totally not worth it the 280 reps/s that me and my bro drop down do nothing at all in terms of survivability.

i hate having 750 armor on my logi suit it dies so fast and i never get any kills .

Having my duvole take like 65 cpu instead of 90 is also a total waste of time on assault i would much rather get that whopping extra 30 hit points that caladri get that's like 80% of 1 bullet !

Also i have no idea why people might use the low level gal suits . After all being able to stack basic plates and get over 600 hp with less than a million SP is no good for noobs

These are like the weakest suits in game and almost half of the team is Gallente assault/logi. And many of these don't seem to armor tank at all. They die so quickly! The least suit I see around is the Minmatar (logi/assault) which is the 2nd best suit in game. It can shield tank, good assault and logi bonuses, and fastest medium suit in game. People really underestimate speed in this game. Hit detection anyone?

While I'm at it can you Gallente guys post how do you fit your dropsuits? Do you just armor tank + damage mods, speed tank, dual tank? Caldari has the easiest time, regs and CPU upgrades in the lows and extenders in the highs. And lol shield recharge bonus for assaults. It's like CCP is obsessed with shields.

I love Gallente armor tanking. My most used suit is dual tanking with 277shield/422armor advanced basic suit. The fit is only 40k isk and using GEK and basic SMG.

My biggest problem with armor tanking is running in militia against anyone using massdriver and previously flaylocks which annoyingly have become very common. They slaughter me in no time with the high damage vs armor. At least it cost me no isk but I rarely get the chance to shoot back before I am blown into oblivion.

I really look forward to Gallente Heavy dropsuits and having 1000+ in armor.

Try "regeneration tanking" with repair modules and shield optimizers... the Gallente suit kicks ass with that set up.

Explosives do 1.2x damage to armor.

Gallente are righteous and skilled.

Its about being the right player, not the right suit.

Gallente assualt is tough with 4 lows.

Gallente logi has 5 lows

Thats plenty.

If you cant win with gallente you suck.

If gallente assualt were to get any add on i would say 1 more high slot.

Gall suits need a boost of at least 50% hit points and a built in complex rep also armor plates need there armor amount to rise buy a factor on x3 .

Only then will gall suits be able to hold there own on a battlefield after all they are assault suits like caldari and all assault suits should be played in exactly the same way .

I think is the small frame of the Gallente suit ( Hit Box ), it is smaller than the Caldari. I been using both for a while, and honestly is not a huge difference between them, very similar scores with both of them.

Sometimes I sacrifice/substitute to put in a complex stamina mod to bet to the action.

Look running a gallente is not instant gratification. There quick with good armor and not bad shields.
