Forge guns are fine, but if there has to be a nerf of some kind, all CPP "need" to do is remove the standard type and keep only the assault and breach IMO. Assault needs timing, anticipation and a steady aim due to not being able to hold the charge. The breach needs planning and stealth due to lack of movement whilst charging (and length of charge).
Standard Forge? Charge it up and hold it for as long as you want whilst still being able to move (albeit slowly) makes it too easy for such a high damage gun. If it is removed, I think there will be less crying due to less FG being used due to requiring much greater skill to wield (sort of like why you don't see plasma cannons everywhere, although to a lesser extent).
That and maybe make any roof that does not have a ladder leading to it very, very slippery for anything other than a light/scout suit :P |

FG has not changed since I started playing in January so I am really interested as to why they were balanced but are now OP. Can anyone explain this phenomena? |
