i feel so pleased. i just upgraded more sp to my laser related options and spent more isk to get the elm 7 on my minmatar medium suit along with many new modules.
Lastnight i tested all sorts of different set ups and i finally found the one that gives me a much higher K/D ratio.
I love watching all of you trying to storm at me across the land only to get wasted by a few seconds from my laser.

So surely I'm not the only one upset that they are adding an sight to the laser? I have already grown accustom to a lot of references with determining distance with the iron sights and never had much of a problem with it. Wish CCP would keep the iron sight versions in and have a dot sight variant.

Only problem is I'm not sure when I should start saving up my SP. I want to start saving up now, but then again Amarr vehicles may be another year or two down the line and I may as well skill up my laser proficiency. |

i agree, up your laser prof. vehicles will come in time. have fun now :) instead of being at a stand still so to speak. |

Lasers do not need a nerf. If you do good with it then you have skill. It isnt until after proficiency 3 it starts becoming pretty damn deadly. So you have to SKILL into it. Isnt that the point of running a role? Spending time and sp on a particular weapon? Max out any weapon on this game and it will seem "OP". There are ways to avoid being killed by every weapon on this game. Certain ones you keep your distance, others you close in on the enemy, and some you try not to be in the open. Use your brains while you play and adapt to the battle scenarios that are present and maybe you will realize that thing dont need nerfed, your play style needs buffed. Lol. For real though. |

I liked the laser, seriously considered giving up the boring AR for it... but the gold etching puts me off -_- I don't like the weapons of our hated oppressors. I want a weapon held together by gaffer tape with lots of exposed wiring. |

Laser is a tough world...pretty sure the tac still out ranges it...check your distance. I believe laser does 0% at 93 meters. Only a window still for good damage and I totally agree on upping the ammo. It is not easy to kill 2 people 1 clip...with 400 rounds...make kill with all ammo is 8 people. You need nanohives. |

i agree, a good def pos with a nanohive and some distance to laze some enemy. I keep a subm for cq when i get flanked. |

No they aren't there are a sure fire slayer of a gun. Ripping people apart from objectives as they try to get across open ground or harassing them from the flanks works wonders. |
