The roadmap the CPM was shown does not have a specific content map, this however certainly does not mean stuff is not being made. There are also the possibility of announced features that sort have fallen off the design table, any old hand here can tell you about the sudden disappearance of the black ops HAV which is a bit silly a low signature weakly defended tank was generally not an then or now environment survivable vehicle. The CPM is however aware of a generalized goal date for achieving 'racial symmetry' and that it is not so distant future but CPM cannot comment on that date as its not permission and under NDA still. So the Caldari heavy and light suits are on the horizon but not available for comment. I never assumed that they were off the table but there is no inclination if they are going to be summer releases, holiday releases, or even later like in 2014. I liked the New Eden section, but it still didn't leave me feeling like I understand exactly what CCP is going to do.
Like I said I have no permission to state when CCP intends to have racial symmetry but its sooner than most people are throwing stones out to. |

I'm simply expressing the frustration of a none CCP fanboy, while giving some friendly advice to kinda not let situations inflate. Not up to me to put dates out, After all @#%^@ happens at the last second and gets delayed a patch such as a few things in 1.2 that wound up in 1.3 instead. |

From the looks of it there is no new 'expansion' in the works we're going to be stuck with monthly version updates of uprising for a while. This may however not always be the case. Content wise there seems to be a fairly big chunk of it on the way before end of the roadmap which may require extension on some fronts. CPM is going to start meeting more with design teams over the major features planned on the roadmap which was published here.

This is pretty much sums everything the CPM is seeing done to the game, while the roadmap that CPM did see was a bettered detailed version the goals desired in a 2-3 pages developer/player story format. The bullet point pretty much summarizes what CCP plans to do. Road map or not these items are picked up, mulled over, thought over, executed, put down on the table again then rechecked to see if it worked and may pick it back up again. Other pointers are going to be a constantly ongoing fight of improvement. Somethings on this roadmap is not exclusive to one silver bullet feature but rather a large combination of features not yet realized or drafted yet other than they know what the goal of any feature they come up with. This of course gives the developers greater freedoms to pursue the goals instead of being shoehorned into poorly made features or ill thought out ones similar to what another game is doing.
New Guns and Suits falls under balance for example even though that it in itself is not a bullet point.
Along with this roadmap while I have no confirmation of any feature yet, its far entirely too possible earlier things have indeed wound up on the floor and not on the shelf or oven. Remember black ops HAVs? that would be one example.
Making fights interesting, controls, context are all part of the important process of fixing SP/WP as earlier complained. One of the largest elephants in the room over this would probably be the warbarge strike. |

It's going to be a long wait for the stuff we want. As a former dropship pilot I've been waiting as long as anyone here for my favorite role to become viable. If past performance is any measure of future performance we will have a year or more before most of us consider the game out of beta.
Meanwhile I'm playing around with a role that isn't a frustrating ISK sink and having fun with my corp mates as I slowly fill out my Dropsuit Core Upgrades. When I'm done with that I'll start on Vehicle Core Upgrades.

1.4 should be a joy to most infantry hopefully, I don't have all the details but it seems they've 'wrecked' a few things about it most in particular the whole who's tank is better? However stuff under all sorts of testing, if you catch up on CCP Wolfman's posts the other day in dev tracker the game is going to get much more 'difficult' without spotters pinging on the map, this may overall be a massive buff to scouts.
1.5 is looking to be the big vehicle patch... but nothing in stone yet there either and I am not sure if it is all going to get done in that patch, I have suggested CCP Wolfman to post his 'goal plan' for vehicles for feedback but I have to have my fingers crossed because that train can get wrecked easily by external forces. |

I have to agree you'll never get conversations like these in CoD forums or levels beyond what call of duty discuss though I have to say those two games are much more opted to discuss what they currently have and ways to use it. |
