Hey guys, as i'm sure you may know. Dust 514 only has roughly 6000 players on any one time. Though there is obviously much more traffic throughout the day between different players. This number is still drastically low.
I mean, we all like to trash about how the game is doomed. How such and such weapon/suit is OP How such and such corporation is too good How such and such player is garbage.
Talk like this is only natural in any competitive atmosphere. And totally understandable. But! If this is all we do day in and day out, how can we expect the game to improve? we can continue to buy AUR, but even that with CCP's individual advertising is not enough.
This game has so much potential! -We could expand Planetary conquest to more systems. -Create free trade between EvE + Dust 514 -Dust mercenaries can be utilized by eve pilots to board + conquer stations and ships. -More variety of suits can be created -More battle landscapes can created + District owner editing
The possibilities are endless!
But guys, CCP alone cannot accomplish this. It is up to us. The community.
How? You may ask. It's simple dude. CCP already had the right idea with the recruitment program. We have to get more players into the game we have to tell our friends, our family, our co-workers. we have to hit up our facebooks, our twitters, our tumblrs, our youtubes, even our instagrams. We have to get this game out there, and let people know how great it is!
There is only so much CCP can do on their end. In reality it's up to us, the Dust 514 community, to make this game.
Let's band together and help this awesome game surpass it's capabilities! |

I like to burn imagination fuel for the DUST burner on this possibility. Imagine POS space station maps with Tiered stages of defense and capture. Oh the mobilized infantry possiblities are great. Different entry points accessed by the POS exterior with personnel transports in a limited space outside of the stations.

Though, Dust 514 is revolutionary. It has a format that totally unheard of. And is being built from the ground up. It's already reaching heights that other games have not even gotten remotely close to achieving |

It's already reaching heights that other games have not even gotten remotely close to achieving In some ways maybe, but this small team with never catch up to the monster sized teams behind BF in terms of technology and capability, in 5-6 years BF will be quite a bit more advanced than BF4. Dust 514 has the potential to be revolutionary.. maybe. But its not revolutionary yet.
But Battle Field is built solely around being a lobby shooter. I mean in all fairness. it is THE best lobby shooter of it's time. But that's all it will ever be. They can update the looks, the maps, the weapons, the characters. But progressively speaking, it's reached it's height. The only way it can keep moving forward is by changing it's format altogether. Though i'm sure that is far from it's companies interest.
Dust 514 on the other hand. Is built on a format that is spewing absurd amount of potential. and the game is already working towards It with examples of: Orbital strikes, and groundbreaking Planetary Conquest. And there is so much more to come!

Yeah the game is a bit tricky to get down at first, But once you get the hang of it you start to appreciate the complexity and awesomeness of it |

That probably sums up Dust right there. Continuously spewing absurd amounts of unrealized potential.
But they're also working and utilizing that potential. Something as revolutionary as this takes time. I mean believe me dude, i want to see all these things implemented as soon as the next guy. But wouldn't you rather they take their time in making this game and carefully examine all the factors involved? |
