The FG will one day be useless against infantry. As for against vehicles... lol? It's an ANTI VEHICLE weapon. Dropships have always suck against FG's...
I don't see how reducing its dmg against vehicles is viable considering how specialized a weapon it is. Fat suit required to use, and lolheavies.
Dropships need a buff in resistance and MAYBE more HP. They so slow and fly so awkward now. If they made flying more nimble then an HP buff might not be needed.
But lolCCP and balancing
I suspect when dropships get buffed, they'll be as annoying as the LAV's are now. |

OK so we reduce the damage,forgegunners notice it isnt as effetive as it use to be, they try the other variant,they like them,another thread is born complaing about that varient now...
Truth is at high tiers all the forge guns are great AV and it's all preference that seperates them. |

What needs to happen is that forge guns need to light up their surroundings while charging like they used to. They need to tell the world that they are charging up a weapon of doom. |

And no. The swarm launcher lost its dumbfire with good reason. Why should the forge do less damage against infantry? Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get good hits on infantry? |
