It'd be nice if there were some more PSAs mixed in like how the loading screens display tips. Pertinent things like,
'Work together and win! Be sure to squad up to gain more skill' 'Save a life and win the day, buy nanite injectors' 'Talk with your friends and plot against your enemies. Enable voice chat in the Neocom options menu'
There are a lot more things that could be said, but that's what I've got off the top of my head. I think it'd be really useful for newer players. Setting up a screen somewhere for relevant images/videos would also be snazzy.
Unless there is a proper tutorial in the works, the second request is to provide basic guides for gameplay in the neocom when out of battle, as is there isn't much for fresh players to learn from who might not know about the forums or what-have-you ultimately turning them off and causing them to lose interest. Something simple that doesn't infringe on more advanced guides made by players, that allows them to build off of, covering basics for AV, general tactics, sensors, weapon/roles. I'm pretty sure players could be pulled in to provide content after establishing a framework of topics.
Anyway, just a thought. |

I think it's important to provide these or similar features so like every other game on the market it provides instruction internally of itself, more than it needs any other technical/mechanical improvement.
Or a method of forum access in game would also be swell. |

All my friends are stuck playing Call of Dorks Body Odor 2, and I don't want to squad with randoms, cause they suck at SqLeading. All they do is set defend order on themselves, the squad heavy, or the squad tank. That, and my scans are limited to what my squad sees as opposed to what the whole team sees.
In mind, losing all that isn't quite as rewarding as organizeing assaults. |
