Designed for close combat and wicked speed. When I first created the character and got set up with my suit, a scrambler pistol, and nova knives, I did positive most every game by being a stealthy ass guy running around, slicing up people or simply shooting them in the back of the head at close range. After my many academy battles, I started finally being able to really do battle with all kinds of enemies. Well, my kill/death ratio went from being 2.0 most games, to going about 1 and 5. So, what tips or tactics should I use as a galactic assassin? I upgraded to a better scrambler pistol, KLO version, although I prefer breach style, still with the first nova knives. I usually get a lot of war points from revives and hacking, because of my speed, but my kills are suffering tremendously. Other than simply flanking my enemy and getting behind him catching him off guard, how can I really become a better merc with an up close and personal attack style?

Mostly because the kills you earn now will toughen you up, and after you put your time in and earn up your kills will recover. squadding up helps, but it sounds like you are more towards lone wolfing it. just keep being sneaky. but you'll want to get your biotics all to lv 5 especially kin cats and cardiac regs. get proto knives ASAP as well. start there first. Then skill hard into knife/pistol proficiency as well as into the mini scout suit skill until you are proto trained. but run ADV suits (M/1s only). You'll just be wanting that +25% knifer damage. in between all of this you'll want to slowly build up your engineering and electronics skills to buff your CPU/PG. You are going to find yourself scraping for CPU. along those thoughts, make sure you skill sidearm operation to lv 5 so you get the exra 15% CPU savings on your x2 sidearms.

A few things you might want to consider: -Try new weapons, at the moment you are using two very short range weapons at the same time, that is not optimal. A longer range weapons will help you deal with situations were you cant catch your enemy 'off guard'. I would recomand you a SMG if you keep your knives. Or mass driver, short range assault rifle,... -Shield extenders are a top priority - reactive plates are good for a minmat scout -explosive are popular amongst scouts and dont mind too much for your ratio

Minmatar scout is one of my favorite suits in terms of sexyness. -Get shield extenders. Equip as many as you can. -Use the lows for regulators or kinetic catalyzers if you have enough CPU/PG. With your fast shield recharge regulators will help the regen to start faster. Kinetic catalyzers are good but only use them if you have extra CPU/PG. -Use your nova knives only if you're approaching a guy that you know it's alone. -Get a light weapon. The scout has a light slot so why not use one? I recommend a shotgun because you need to kill them fast before they kill you. But you can try a Mass Driver or whatever you think will be effective. -Don't bother with precision enhancers/dampeners. You already have 45 dB in both, so you won't be seen by medium suits in their radar. I recommend you level up both skills though, especially scan precision, so that you can detect other scouts. -Active scanner seems like a good equipment for scouts, because they have 10m scan radius, same as all suits. With that thing you can detect the enemy farther and make up assassination plans (lol). Fast reviving is ok I guess. -Try to get contact grenades. I'm not trolling really, you'll still be weak against any other suit. These can save your life. That's it for now. -XOXO
OZAROW A.N.O.N.Y.M.O.U.S. League of Infamy 251	Posted - 2013.07.28 22:53:00 - [12] - Quote My new thing since stamina an strafing an speed is almost useless to use now since 1.2 is I have pro 3 in my smg so I use a very low CPU pg toxin smg an cuz my pro is high it hits like a prototype, I run proto knives for the stragglers an the quiet kills, since with speed an stamina now crap it's damn near impossible to rack in 20 knive kills a game, so I use bombs. I pick my targets, plant my bombs, run to the open, with knives out throw a flux for attention then run back. They see the knives an their like yes easy kill. I switch to the detonator an KABLOOIEE! Find a nano hive an repeat, been getting ten kills a game without a weapon
