As the title suggests, the vehicle skill tree needs to be more streamlined. It can work like this:
- Vehicle Command - skill bonus to ? and unlocks access to the racial variants and upgrades
- Racial Variants - organizes vehicles by race, all require level 1 Vehicle Command, and opens up vehicle types
- Ammar: skill bonus to armor modules per level
- Caldari: skill bonus to shield modules per level
- Gallente: skill bonus to armor modules per level
- Minmatar: skill bonus to speed upgrades per level
Vehicle Upgrades
- Vehicle Types - split into ground and air vehicles, both require level 1 of chosen race, and gains access to vehicle catagories
- Vehicle Catagories
- LAV - requires level 1 Ground Vehicle
- MAV - requires level 3 Ground Vehicle
- HAV - requires level 5 Ground Vehicle
- LAA - requires level 1 Air Vehicle
- MAA - requires level 3 Air Vehicle
- HAA - Requires level 5 Air Vehicle
- Vehicle Specializations
- Speeder Bikes - requires level 1 LAV
- Cars - requires level 3 LAV
- Dropship - requires level 1 MAA
- Bomber - requires requires level 3 MAA
- Jets - requires level 1 LAA
So what do you guys think? Is this more organized than what we already have? Please post your thoughts below and I'll make changes to this accordingly. Also, if anyone knows how to make a visual representation of the vehicle skill tree I proposed, it would be much appreciated. |

As vehicles of different races are added, the second tier will end up looking this:
Amarr Dropship Amarr LAV Caldari Dropship Caldari LAV Gallente Dropship Gallente LAV Minmatar Dropship Minmatar LAV
With my skill tree, the second tier would look this:
Amarr Vehicles Caldari Vehicles Gallente Vehicles Minmatar Vehicles
Looks more easier on the eyes, doesn't it? That's because people get overwhelmed by too many choices. Fewer choices helps with decision-making. Also, leveling up LAV skills to access HAV skills does not make sense to me. LAVs and HAVs are completely different from each other.
