Well pretty much all the really old corps came from MAG. Half of the vets are from MAG, and the rest are from Eve. So...probably a lot of people are from MAG with over 13 mil SP |

It showed me how much better it is in almost every way and how much more you're reliable on your player skill alone, not like this other game I know of...

Sadly, when most of my old MAG friends are playing shooters that aren't MAG (or Dust) anymore, they're playing BF3 or BlOps2.

Most likely PS2 in the PS4... or at least i hope so.. maybe then CCP can forget about the MAG connection, and focus in making Dust 514 a unique FPS/RPGMMO. |

Mag servers shut down in January, I imagine some of them will have PS4 systems by then. Even the ones that do not get one right away, will probably find something else to do. I just do not see most of them coming over. I imagine some will, but it will not be that great of an influx.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if mag came to ps4. It's like saying Socom isn't coming to ps4. 
MAG has been getting a lot of traction from Fans and Devs who would love to see it on ps4. Most console games don't die, they either come back BAD ASS or just bad. |

i used to be part of sver back when mag was in its prime when everyone didn't all switch to sver cause we had better players and killed the game off :P

Dom is playable in the morning east coast time. Till this day i can not find a FPS to replace Mag. Dust is not even close we can't field more than 32 players. Also we will never see 256 players on one map along with leadership coms.

the tranquility server can barely hold the current Dust and EVE population right now, 256 people on one battlefield I can see the amount of lag we are gonna have right now. |

Quite honestly, MAG defined for me what console FPS is supposed to be like. I can talk about the fine clockwork of game mechanics, comms, factions, clans, maps that actually made sense and made an attacker attack and a defender defend, or hundreds of hours of game play (about 700 for me) - but you know and have experienced these things the same as I have, so you know exactly what I mean, no words are necessary. Every FPS I play I measure with the MAG ruler. Sadly, I doubt we'll see a game in the near future for which the MAG ruler would be too short. |

Hope we get another one on PS4 but I'm not gonna hold my breath. DUST is the first game to grab me, really grab me, since MAG.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if mag came to ps4. It's like saying Socom isn't coming to ps4. MAG has been getting a lot of traction from Fans and Devs who would love to see it on ps4. Most console games don't die, they either come back BAD ASS or just bad.
Ummm... Sony strangled Zipper. I think I saw one of their programmers the other day selling sunglasses at a street corner in Redmond. So my bet is that even if MAG 2 is released it's gonna be some money grab bastardized product by an outsider developer. Sad but in all likelihood true. |
