Beyond the halls of the Summit lies a set of double doors, set in tempered Caldari steel. On each is the mark of the Kaalakiota, a fitting corporation to sponsor such a fine structure. Through the doors however, the scene quickly swaps from one of raw industry to subdued beauty. The Temple itself pays a stark contrast to the opulent cathedrals of the Amarr. Rather than reliefs of gold, the walls are lined with humble stained wood. In the center, rather than massive statues of religious figures, there is a single stone platform where stewards may pray for the strength of their ancestors. Surrounding the platform are magnificent gardens of fantastical plants from other worlds. Pathways circle through the gardens until they open up into different shrines and areas of rest. Benches are spaced before ponds of fish, inviting passerbys to come and ponder all of creation for a moment. The roof of this fantastical structure is held up by large stone pillars. Towards the far end of the room, the roof gives way to an open air balcony, allowing the wind to flow freely through the gardens. Above the center stone, there is a circular skylight, open to the elements above it. When it rains, dozens arrive to kneel upon the stone and request the favor of the great Storm Wind, from whom all soldiers receive their guidance.
Several offices in adjacent rooms are connected by sliding paper doors, in which individuals are free to worship as they see fit. Two different bathhouses are marked with seperate statues: A kitsune for females and a tanuki for males.
Peace, balance, and serenity come to mind when you enter the structure. All in all, Galm was proud of how well his money was spent. For the first time, here was a temple where he hoped Intaki, Caldari, and Achura could all coexists as children of the Winds. |

Galm spots Denak from the corner of his eye. He seems happy with the fernishings before he ducks into an office, allowing Galm some time to be alone. It brings a somber smile to his face as the sight brings a series of bitter-sweet facts to a boiling point. For all the time Galm had spent into learning the ways of his father, the ideals of the Intaki were practically unknown to him. And yet... This place... Something spoke from within him when he was inside it. Somewhere deep down, he knew that his Intaki half was content. |

*Galm emerges from the office as he places his cap back on his head and gives a slight bow to Denak*
"Welcome my friend! I do hope that I did well designing the structure. I managed to appeal to Kaalakiota for some assistance building the facility. When I convinced them that it was a golden opportunity for public relations, they quickly picked up a decent bulk of the costs. I only wish more disciples might enter soon, I would hate to see this place be ignored. Maybe it was the doors, I knew I should have furnished them to mirror the interior."

*Galm nodded to Denak, happy to know that he enjoyed the furnishings. Perhaps advertisement would do this location well*
*He turnes to se Metsar enter the room, slightly awestruck at the scale of the Temple. *
Sure, I could change the doors... But I would miss seeing that look on newcomer's faces.
"Ah my friend, welcome! It is good to see an imperial. Even if we do not share a faith, I am always happy to help us all understand one another."
*He takes note of Metsar avoiding the shrine and chuckles lightly to himself, shaking his head with a grin on his face*
"You don't have to go out of your way to dodge any shrines in this temple. I hoped for this to be a place of both reverence and understanding. No one here will judge you for how you worship or what god you pray to."
*he motions to the bronze sword*
"Afterall, we have all seen what happens when a civilization becomes numb to the cultural differences of another. But I am sure you are not here to worship. Please, what can I do for you?" |

It may seem trivial given our clone status, but I am compelled to check up on those I've treated. Have you re-cloned since the incident?" "As a matter of fact, I have. My body didn't heal up exactly as I had hoped, but it kept me stabilized long enough to take a short leave of absence. My current leisure clone as been augmented slightly since the incident and good amount of aurum allowed me to pay for more advanced cybernetics, but those all seem to function rather well. Still, I am pleasantly surprised to see you care enough to organize a short follow-up." |

*Galm turns to the fish as well, breathing out contently*
"Beautiful, aren't they? They are Achurian, but they seem like they belong in this temple just as well as the prickly shrubs from Caldari Prime. It is nice, no matter how heated discussion may become in the summit I always feel at peace with myself in this place." |

Galm shoots back and fourth through the facility, eagerly tipping his head to various monuments and shrines scattered through the gardens. With a slight dance he ducks into an office before reemerging with a warped cylindrical package. He hops onto the base of one of the columns that holds up the roof to the temple, gazing out of the balcony and onto the horizon of the beautiful planet beyond. He eyes it eagerly, as if waiting for an old friend. A slight breeze grazes his check as the sound of thunder rolls in the distance.
Come on, come on....
A single cloud breaks over the distant mountain peaks as a flash of lightening cracks in the sky. |

"Heh..."
He can smell the ozone in the distance and a faint hint of petrichor, yet now rain has reached the facility yet. He rubs the tired from his eyes as he comes to the realization that the storm might be further away than it looks. He counts the time in between flashes of lighting and booms of thunder, attempting to determine the distance between him and the roaring tempist. |

Having thoroughly wasted an extented period of time tracking the nearby storm on his augmented vision, Galm sinks down onto a nearby bench. He watches closely as pools of fish silently track their circles in the pond. It seemed like as good a time as any to come to terms with certain facts about his own condition.
He loses himself in thought as time seems to accelerate around him. A crash of thunder brings him to his senses long enough to catch the sight of the first few raindrops scattering across the grounds. His joy is almost palpable, causing him to grin like a child as he combs his hair to the side and pops on his military cap before picking up his package.
About time!
Eagerly, he rushed in the directon of the central shrine, zooming past a rustic figure clad in Matari armor. For an second or two Galm doesn't seem to notice, continuing forward wearing an almost giddy expression. When he finally registers that he has a guest he stops in his tracks, does an slight doubletake, and spins back around.
A Matari... In my temple... Odd.
She seems oddly fixated on the statue positioned in front of the female bathhouses. Her lightly armored form makes her seem deceivingly frail, but Galm had learned by now to withhold judgement until he had a chance to properly size a mercenary up. His augmented vision glows a dim gold, analysing her from head to toe. Normally shaking her hand and asking her name would have been enough, but time was short.
"Ah Ryeon-haani!" he blurts, tucking his parcel under his shoulder and giving an elaborate bow, "I didn't recognize you, you... Well, to be honest I have never seen you in anything but a stock clone before. It can be hard to identify you."
Galm gives an awkward smile, scanning the temple left to right.
"Have you seen Denak? He tends to come and go, and I would hate for him to miss the first storm of the season. Forgive me, it is just a tradition that I love to share. Caldari pride, Storm Wind, blah blah, etcetera etcetera."
He flips his cap up slightly, letting his hair just barely stick out from under it as his eyes swap to a cool blue tint.
"It is good to see you. It will probably take some time for the storm to pick up. Please, could I offer you anything?"

Oh good, I got the statues right too.
"Tea on the balcony it is then!" Galm spouts, happy to be a good host.
He motions towards the porch at the far end of the gardens before trotting off with a speed that seems halfway between a spiritually enlightened stroll and a militaristic jog. He ducks briefly into one of the paper offices before reappearing a short time later balancing a traditional Caldari tea set on a steel platter, all the while keeping his wrapped package tucked under his shoulder. The scene is enough to make anyone realize that most of Galm's actions seem unrehearsed and improvised. Child-like even.
A slightly unsettling effect when one realizes he has probably killed more men than can easily be counted.
"I was unsure what your preference was, so I have prepared a kettle from kresh leaves. If you find it too strong for your liking then I have a selection of spiced Intaki teas and Achurian blends aswell."
He sets the tray and the parcel down on a small table near the railing of the balcony and prepares two cups.
"Personally however I always found kersh to be a bit more suitable for ceremonial occasions. Which I suppose this is!"
He motions upwards, just as Ryeon had before, smiling. He breathes out contently, shutting his eyes for a moment.
"Yes, when I began this project our Intaki friend was the first man I contacted. It is refreshing to have someone around who is so well versed in the part of me I have long suppressed. I suppose we all have a side we have kept hidden from ourselves, and he helps me remember that."
He turns around and looks off in the distance. The normally arid landscape seems transformed under the shadow of the growing thunderhead. |

"I can scarcely decide for myself," he replies lightheartedly.
He takes a small sip from his cup before deciding it is too hot and sets it down again.
"At a glance, I suppose I am referring to my Intaki roots. My mother never bothered to teach me about her people and their way of life. I suppose that she felt guilty that I would always be thought of as a halfbreed in the State, so she and my father made a point of only raising me on Caldari traditions and beliefs. I suppose it worked. There was a time were I could have passed for pure Civire. Not that it mattered growing up with the Legion, they were far more tolerant of my kind."
His eyes dim slightly at the memory of his childhood before flaring up with his usual enthusiasm.
"Then again, there are plenty of qualities I wouldn't mind burying. My time in the Dragonaurs, my service in the STC, my... 'Condition.' But I don't. I think since joining the summit and speaking with others like my kind I have learned to wear all of that on my sleeves. Besides, a majority of experience comes from poor judgement. By that logic, I reckon I am one of the most qualified SOBs here."
Quote:"Death in a hot cup. Appropriate." "Erm, yes, I didn't mean to, well, kill you. I had honestly forgotten that not everyone fares so well to this drink and I might have been a bit over enthusiastic about having an excuse to use it. I hardly have any time these days to enjoy a good cup of tea what with how busy we have all been scrambling for faction space."
He picks up his tea, which as cooled off significantly by now. He takes a long sip, enjoying the bold flavor. |

The two could hear Fae coming before they saw him. A soft jingle of various dishes clanking against a metal tray echoed through the gardens. The clones' augmented hearing is all that allows them to hear Galm mutter a maelstrom of profanities in frustration while he tries to balance everything on the plater. When he finally arrives to the balcony though he is beaming, proud of himself for being a good host. The dishes appear to be all handcrafted and fired in glossy earthtones. The different cups, teapots, and containers hold all the tea, cream, honey, and any other fixings a guest might need.
Galm makes his way back to the pot of kresh and pours himself another cup, opting to stand up so Denak may have a seat. |

Galm shrugs slightly and takes a seat, unwilling to argue about who is more deserving of a stool.
"I am well I suppose."
He looks out at the storm, which has picked up significantly by now. He closes his eyes once again and mouths a silent prayer, basking in the power of the storm. When he has finished he looks back up at his guests and removes his cap, setting it on a nearby table as he picks up his parcel. It is wrapped in simple brown paper with red twine holding it all together. He pulls the knot and unwraps the package, revealing a Rataa era officer's sword.
"I was planning on waiting until the storm to open this. What better way to crisan such a fine weapon than in the presence of Storm Wind herself?"
The blade in tucked away in a forged saya. The hilt seems fine crafted to fit Fae's grip perfectly. He draws the sword, exposing a meter long blade. Pressed into the steel is a simple phrase in Caldari military block letters,
Iskki kuzutuaya, nizu elaakan ryi.
With the press of a button on the hilt the entire blade energizes, not unlike a modern Nova Knife.
"It is really more for show. It would be impractical to haul into battle." |

"I had neglected to think of that," Galm says in a monotone fashion, trying not to alarm anyone. That's twice now he has let something potentially lethal go over his head. He struggles to remember if he were this careless as a baseliner.
"Well judging by the fact that I am still standing here..."
That was about the moment when he starts to realize how hot the hilt is becoming.
"Hmm... Please excuse me for a moment
Still refusing to show even a hint of panic, Galm casually walks a few meters away, the hot metal beginning to sear his flesh. He studies the weapon for a few seconds.
"Ah."
He easily figures out the safety mechanism that powers down the blade without forcing it to vent all at once. He looks around slightly confused for a place to toss the glowing blade without having it melt through the floor. His attention is immediately drawn to one of the nearby fish pools.
****. Sorry guys.
He tosses the sword into the pool, which erupts into a plume of steam.
He walks back carefully, observing his blistered hand.
"A thousand apologies. I have a horrible habit of not reading the instructions anymore. I guess I have become too accustomed to just downloading a skill book and that being that. Forgive me, but perhaps we ought to get down to brass tacks before I find another chance to accidentally kill someone."
A clap of thunder erupts through the temple.
"Don't be so melodramatic," he whispers softly to the wind. |

"Khotey ki aulda," Galm fires back, not missing a beat. He points at his ears, smiling as his eyes once again glow bright gold.
"Augmented hearing, remember? And if my mother taught me anything about her culture, it was the vulgarities that stuck with me. All in good humor I suppose though. After all, I have been called worse. Which brings me to the topic at hand."
He reaches for his cup of tea before retracting his blistered hand and picking the drink up with the other one instead.

Denak listens closely to Galm's explanation, drinking down the rest of the tea given to him, looking off into the distance, the lightning slowly getting closer to the three. "Well, it seems that everyone suffering from this, disorder, experiences it in a different way. I've been trying to just not think about it, focus on something else."
"My thoughts exactly. When I signed on with BetaMax I was focused on one priority; to run and never look back. I was a fool for thinking that would work. My time in Guardian Solutions has kept me out of the world's spotlight for the most part and kept me busy with deployments. Always moving, always fighting, always running. Recently I found myself asking what my reason to fight was. I couldn't come up with an answer."
He takes a sip of his kresh, eyes pointed at Denak but looking right through him.
"I can't recall what I was running from anymore. And the more I think about it the more I am starting to wonder if I ever had a reason to run in the first place or if the mood just struck me. What I really need is a reason to fight. I can talk about potentially changing the course of history for the rest of eternity, but until I find a noble cause to throw myself behind... Or rather in front of... Then every death I experience is pointless. Spirits, maybe moving a planet or saving a nation won't make my condition go away, but it is sure to keep my mind off it."
He looks over at Yun when she speaks.
"Hmm. Chipped. Yes, that is a much better word for it."
He looks down into his tea cup. The two have no idea how much he needed to hear that. |

Yun Hee Ryeon wrote: "Why fight? We have a banquet laid before us: foes without limit, challengers without end, continual opportunities to test and hone ourselves-- to seek our perfection as blades, and earn our living thereby. We don't even have to set up a gate camp. They come to us, spoiling for the challenge. And if pain ... is to be the price of failure ... then that is all the more reason not to fail."
Galm wonders exactly what she means by "we." He remains silent, pondering the implications.
Quote:"The question is how to keep that existence from becoming ... something empty, something self-indulgent. A perfect sword with no hand to wield it is a useless thing, or worse than useless: cursed.
"How can I be what I am, without bringing further shame upon my soul? That is the question that haunts me. I require no special reason to slay my fellows. ... But what worth will my existence have?" Her eyes wander back over to the fish pond, and the more gently-rising steam.
"Undirected, a creature who loves destruction is nothing but a blight." "For the first time Ryeon, I think I understand what you mean. And yet... the way you talk, it is almost like you don't consider yourself human anymore. No matter how far you think you have fallen, no matter how much shame you feel upon your soul, remember: you have a soul. I'd wager that tucked somewhere inside that stock clone is a spry little sparrow who was born into the world just like the rest of us.
You said it yourself, we aren't broken. Just chipped."
Galm pulls out a datapad and taps away on it before tossing it to Denak.
"Call me a masochistic, but I feel most human on the front lines. Among other mercenaries I'm not just a blight, I'm a comrade. The feeling of purpose and brotherhood reminds me of a much more simple time."
He breaths out, his eyes swapping to a florescent orange.
"I am considering leaving Guardian Solutions, but I want to commit to one last adventure before I seek a new corporation with a bit greater purpose. The contract is noble enough. The Eos Corporation is looking for freelance mercenaries willing to help counter pirate operations in Molden Heath. A man by the name of... Blast it, I think his name was Ammos Gravit or something strange along those lines... He is looking for more soldiers to fight. All this can be supported by the information on that datapad."
His eyes revert back to a bright gold, emphasizing every change in tone. He chuckles lightly, leaning his head over the balcony and into the downpour, soaking the upper part of his uniform in a matter of seconds before turning back to the two.
"I hadn't thought of it until now, but should you two wish to accompany me I would be very happy. If not, I completely understand that you both have prior engagements." |

Yun Hee Ryeon wrote:"Hm. I am well-content, thank you, Fae-haan. Only, this spry little sparrow does have a question.
"There are many different ways of being functional, Fae-haan. A human is functional, but so is a slaver dog-- or a kitsune. Why is it that you are so certain you are human? And, even if you are, what makes you certain that I am?" Galm thinks for a minute before he speaks.
"Because I am fallible. I have fears, hopes, and aspirations, which makes me flawed. Some soldiers would see to have their emotions ripped from them and turned into a perfect warrior. They would rather become a perfect weapon than a beautiful feat of life and ingenuity."
He sets down his empty tea cup.
"I once helped evacuate a city of refugees on a gas giant during a drone attack. It was a mess down there, I am still amazed that the entire district didn't fall out of the sky while we were on it. During the fighting though, I--... I was pulling this kid from a building, right? She is screaming and pissing herself while I am just trying to stay focused on getting the two of us out of there alive. All of a sudden, this drone barrels into the two of us and pins me to the ground. I'm wasn't concerned about being ripped to shreds by their freakish metal claws though, I was worried about what was going to happen to that little girl. She was digging herself into my chest, shouting for help and all I could do is lie to her and tell her that everything was going to be alright. Then the damnedest thing happened.
"The drone ripped my right arm clean off and flew away, leaving the kid alive and me, forgive the pun, disarmed."
He chuckles at his own joke.
"I was roaring in pain for quite some time, but eventually the wound clogged up and I carried that poor girl out of there over my shoulder. That drone should have killed me. It had every reason to waste us both. Rogue drones aren't human, they are artificial. Weapons made only for destruction. But in that moment before it spared my life, I thought I sensed something locked inside of that metal husk.
"I don't really know what makes someone human, Ryeon-haani. That stock body you are locked away in is artificial. It is only made to be a weapon. Yet part of me feels like there is something human in it. Maybe I am just suffering from pareidolia, but I could swear I've seen some emotion in you. A small sliver of error that makes you more than just a tool."

Galm laughs a bit, amused at the mental image he had just conjured. Eventually he calms down and reverts back to his calm, musing tone.
"My, you Achurian are a fickle bunch. Granted I understand the metaphor you employ, I simply believe that a good conversation calls for quite a bit of over exaggeration, blunt statements, and seemingly unrelated anecdotes. Perhaps I should have been a politician instead of a contract killer. Not that there is much difference of course."
He glances at his guests with a smirk to make sure they understand he isn't being completely serious.
"However history has shown that I seem to fall short whenever I try to grossly oversimplify a thousand year tradition like that of your Totality. I hope you can forgive me for that. As for your concerns, I figure it is a matter of just deciding to be human yourself. Can I be honest?"
He doesn't wait for an answer.
"Galm is dead. Has been for a very long time. I've spent days considering this. The memories I carry aren't mine, they are the memories of every Galm that has come before me. Perhaps the Amarr would argue some type of spiritual hocus-pocus carries the soul through different vessels, but any clear thinking individual if given enough time will arrive at the same conclusion that I... And I suspect you... Have reached: We are nothing but the sum of our memories. Learned behaviors and neural connections all directed by a lump of metal in the back of our head. We are, to put it bluntly, living avatars of past experiences.
"Now, one could either deny the realization that we are nothing more than fleshy marionettes and start arguing over the technicalities of what constitutes 'life' or you can realize, just as I have, that it doesn't make a damn difference. Galm died quite a while ago, and soon I too will die. But I am not an individual, I am a mantle. When I pass, the responsibility of being Fae-haan will slip to another copy of myself. Simple infomorph he may be, I still trust him to carry on my legacy. If he is anything like me, he will do just fine.
"We're all ghosts of our past. Immortals just have the advantage of not losing all their progress when they pass. I suspect that statement could open a field of new paradoxes and logical fallacies with some of my previous statements. But hey, you are right. It is a question without an answer." |

Yun's words rip through Galm like a hybrid round. As soon as he registers what she has said, his stomach drops, feeling as though he had just swallowed a brick of ice. He's not really sure what he is suppose to feel. Pity, empathy, disgust, no word seems to convey the utter dismay that overtakes him. He reaches for his tea cup and shatters it in his hand accidentally. He glances over to Denak, expecting some form of reaction out of him, then turns back to Yun's colorless eyes. He finds it hard to maintain eye contact as he beings to speak, stammering over his words.
"I--I... If you will forgive me Yun, I mustn't judge. Whoever you were before doesn't mean that is who you are today. It's just..."
The dull something behind his tongue was growing louder now. His face twitched as it tried it's hardest to claw it's way. He felt it crawling around behind his eyes, swimming through his thoughts trying to distract him. Waiting for him to slip up so it could find its way out again.
"My kin were taken from me. I couldn't imagine any person who would willingly mur--"
He twitches again.
"Who would make the same choice you have. I'm deeply sorry. I wish I knew what I could say, but I find myself at a loss for words."
That was a damn lie. Mountains of words were building up in his mind, waiting for the dam to burst so they could all go rushing forth like a torrent. He tired to think of those words, know what was amassing inside him, but every time he tried he couldn't remember. Only two or three words could surface at a time. He knew if he cast himself any deeper into those thoughts the something would be there waiting for him.
Stupid, stupid, stupid...
Pure. Must... Pure.
Extinct! All extinct!
He convinced himself the something meant nothing. Nothing could come of listening to the something, because something was very wrong with the other thing... He was the... What?
He shakes his head and the thoughts are gone. His hands are trembling heavily.
"Ryeon... I'm sorry..." he whispers, defeated.
"All those times we spoke, if I had any idea...." |

He glaces over to the pond, the steam still rising higher into the ever darkening sky.
Son of a *****, I'm the tanuki.
Whether intentional or not, the symbolism visibly unsettles him. He twitches once again, this time rushing for his bottle of Frentix and pouring himself a cup of tea. Hastefully, he pours a dash of the drug into his drink and takes a long sip. The tea has gone cold, but he ignores it and continues to guzzle down his cup. When he finishes his shakes seemed to have stopped, at least momentarily.
"There are few things that the Caldari covet more than kin. You can understand how foreign the concept is to me. Granted, I only ever knew my immediate family. The concept of killing your grandfather though, while still alien, seems much less of a sin then killing your own father and mother. I had suspected that you had a past as a capsuleer. I'd just never asked myself why you might have made the change.
"I suppose it was a noble act, binding yourself to such a weak form to save the world your destruction. Yet I find myself feeling a bit..."
He pauses, thinking of the right word.
"... Smaller when I stand next to you now."
He remains silent for a few seconds.

His eye flicker blue for a split second.
"Hmm. I suppose that made me sound a bit more like a megalomaniac than it did in my head."
Low levels of light barely illuminate the temple as the blue sun ducks beyond the horizon. The sound of light raindrops hitting the leaves in the gardens seems absolutely serine compared to the thunder rolling off in the distance.

"You've stashed hidden military assets in CONCORD sovereign territory? That is audacious, Fae-haan. Hm. Well, in lieu of potentially giving your secret away for personal reasons, I think I'll just go invest in a rope ladder. That, at least, should get any curious persons looking in the wrong spot." "Har har," Galm laughs sarcastically.
"It's all harmless enough. They're all secured Gurista made LLAVs that will track back to a long dead arms manufacturer in case they are ever intercepted. None of them are equipped with weapon systems and have been retrofitted to run contraband weapons and intelligence assets into and out of the Summit. Galm barrels into the temple, seeming considerably more disoriented than he did mere hours ago when speaking with Yun Hee. He hides his face behind gold trimmed aviator sunglasses and clutches at his gut in pain. He paces back and fourth, ducking in and out of offices as he searches for supplies. Eventually he locates a syringe and jams it hard into he sternum.
He walks back out into the temple and rests his full weight on one of the stone statues, slouching over as he curls in on himself. He tucks his head into his bomber jacket, trying to breathe. He looks up for a moment and realizes he has a visitor.
"Ah, hello..." he begins, his words slightly slurred. The golden halos in his eyes seem to glow through his lenses as he stares Cormack down.
"Welcome. Apologies, you seem to have caught me at a bad time." |

But before he could speak further, Galm had already gone to speak with Sawdeth, leaving him to his own thoughts again, shrugging. Galm pivots in place once again to face Denak, caught between a comical fusion of a dance spin and a military marching stance. He regains his balanced and bows quickly to his Intaki friend. He never takes his hand off where his pistol would be and seems like he is still watching Sawdeth from the corner of his eye.
"That may be true, but I would rather avoid as much contact with CONCORD officers in this temple as possible. We wouldn't want them snooping about in a Kaalakiota outpost, would we? They can come in here to pray, but if they start asking too many questions I'd hope everyone knows to keep silent about whatever they may or may not know, you know?"
Galm takes his hand off his belt, deciding that if Sawdeth wanted him dead he'd be biomass by now. He stands between the two men, now speaking to both of them.
"I store my leisure clones here along with some light military assets when I am away on deployment. I wouldn't want either tampered with while I'm clonejumping across the stars."
Galm tucks his uniform in, muttering to himself silently in Napanii.

"If that sword is for praying then feel free to use the facility. If it isn't then you picked a pretty bad weapon to bring to a gun fight."
The thought dawns on Galm that he's being a bit too jumpy. I mean come on, a sword? An unheated blade wouldn't even break an immortals skin. He pulls away from his imaginary sidearm, confident that this Gallente hadn't heard the first half of their conversation.

Denak Kalamari wrote: Just trying to contain himself from snapping and going on a full rampage on Galm's behavior took nearly all of his energy, as he defiantly walked in front of him to stop his advance, grabbing the barrel of his rail rifle and pushing it down.
Squeezing the barrel tightly to stop Galm from firing it at nothing but himself, he spoke: "You are going to just do more damage to your temple that way", in the calmest tone possible, while he started directly into Galm's visor, his gaze drilling right through it into his eyes. If he was going to die trying to stop Galm, then so be it, at least it was going to be swift before he would wake up in the reanimation unit.
"Raven has already left, and the damage he did can be sanded out. Now stop this or you have to go through me first." he spoke again, almost pushing Galm to squeeze the trigger just enough, send that bullet right through his body and virtually disintegrate him. He really wasn't sure if he was going to stop or not, but he did not waver, keeping that barrel pointed right at him while keeping his gaze locked to Galm's, his own heart racing in a fast beat.
Galm's aim doesn't lower. If anything he tenses up even more. Behind his helmet several heavy gasps escape his lips as he remembers to breath.
"You really keen on me wasting you? Get the **** out of my way, Denak."
He doesn't say with with hate. More with... Regret. He was right, the vandal had already run off. There would be no point in chasing after him and even if he did the station security wouldn't react well to Galm's weapons. First they'd shoot him... Then they'd start asking questions...
Galm still doesn't lower his weapon at all.
"You have an astute sense of morality for a hitman."
Galm presses the barrel in harder. It's a 'Construct' line weapon. Reverse engineered, no weapon lock, and untraceable thanks to no small amount of aurum payed. CONCORD facility or no, there was no mistaking that it was perfectly within his ability to send a round ripping through anyone he damn well pleased.
Fine. Crafted. Mahogany.
Galm ejects his magazine, sending it skidding across the floor. With a sigh he flicks the safety on his weapon and empties it's chamber.
"You're right. Bullets would just end up causing more damage."
He keeps the barrel pressed into Denak, waiting for him to back away.

Looking at the single bullet on the ground that was ejected from the chamber, Denak knelt down to pick it up, investigating it as he was working to calm down his heartbeat, even muttering something in Intaki: "Fudektuni vaan fudektun nekedoshyl - A mild answer turns away rage."
Still remaining silent as Galm was just standing in front of him, Denak flicked out the knife he brought earlier, a 'shlick' sound emitting as the steel blade cut into his palm, bleeding all over the bullet he was carrying.
With a single deep inhale and exhale, Denak gazed back into Galm's eyes behind the visor, again taking a step towards him. But instead of grabbing the gun, he took Galm's arm and placed the bullet, now covered in Denak's blood, onto his palm, encapsulating it in his fist afterwards.
"Even as a hitman, you avoid unnecessary damage." Denak explained to Galm, gazing into his eyes for one last time, rubbing the fresh scar that appeared on his palm after the nanites took care of the wound with his thumb, it was the fifth one he had made.
"Prataya yavati." Denak said as he just walked away to the paper offices to clean the blood and contemplate for some time, Galm being free to follow if he so wished.
Galm looks down at the bullet silently, the blood dripping over his glove and onto the floor. As Denak turns to leave, Galm finally speaks.
"Rikaato... Suuolo. Please give me a moment to collect myself."
With this, he turns back around and enters the same paper office he had just exited. Inside, a striking transformation had completely reformatted the room from a peaceful domicile to an armory in a matter of seconds. Carpets and wood paneling had lifted up to reveal rows upon rows to weapon racks holding everything from Mass Drivers to CreoDron rifles modified to carry 'Toxin' ammunition. In the rear a military grade CRU rack carries no less than six clones prefit into various loadouts, displaying each one like a vending machine. Beside it Fae's leisure body lays dormant in an unfilled pod, still wearing his fine pressed uniform.
Galm sets the bullet on one of the nearby weapons racks and eases himself into the CRU. He shuts his eyes as it lifts his body into the machine carefully.
In no time at all Galm has returned to garden, carrying with him the bullet and a wrapped package. He knocks gently before entering another office and handing Denak the package. Inside it is a HK-2 Scrambler pistol, trimmed in a polished gold and beautiful Amarr reliefs.
"I want you yo have this. It's the least I could do to apologize for my outburst. This weapon was one in a shipment I 'liberated' from a crew of slavers."
He smiles for a moment, but only for a moment. Soon he has returned to a serious disposition and bows respectfully, offering Kalamari the weapon.
"Of course, since I kept using them I kept losing them one by one in the field! Now this is the only one I have left. I've been keeping it as part of my collection or as a sidearm to wear when making public appearances in uniform and now I want you to have it. It's accurate, powerful, and easy to fire. It will serve you well. Please accept it as a token of my heiian."

A full clip of rail rifle ammunition is lying in the middle of the floor.
What catches his attention most of all, however, is the sight of one of the small paper offices: The boards and carpets that had once made up the floor of the room had been hastily stripped away to reveal a stockpile of arms, everything from rifles (with distinctly marked boxes of 'Toxin' ammunition next to them) to pistols, to mass drivers.
He looks up and sees a smaller antechamber with a fully stocked CRU with pre-fitted combat clones, with some more weapon racks on either side filled to the brim with Caldari rail rifles, notably lacking any manufacturer markings. There are a few small drops of fresh blood on one of the ammunition shelves.
What happened here? He thought to himself, standing dumbfounded. Galm straightens himself out once Denak has accepted the offering. He'd thought he heard...
Gods and spirits, I need to lock that door.
Fae slides out of the office to face Occultus, who seems utterly bewildered by his surroundings. Galm doesn't bother reaching for any sort of weapon. Instead he walks forward warmly and invitingly with a wide grin.
"Welcome! Apologies for the mess, I assure you everything is fine. This was all just a misunderstanding and nobody got hurt! This temple is normally quite beautiful, but some damn fool made a mess of the place a few moments ago. Please, accept these tokens for a free soak in the bathhouse!"
Galm hands the mercenary six plastic chips that can be redeemed for five minutes in the men's bathhouse and sauna, making sure he's standing perfectly between the mercenary and the armory.
